You probably still can.. I was just out for an evening walk around the lakes and ended up walking a bit longer.. Kødbyen is perfect place to do some people watching.

I thought they had cleaned up those neighborhoods. The last time I was there was in the mid 90's. We were on our way out in Europe by train and got a lift to the train station from a friend. We had time before the train should leave so he parked the car at Istedgade. His girlfriend was pail, skinny, long dark hair and 20 years old.
The angry looks on the professional ladies made us hurry in the direction of the train station.
