What Are You Thinking? Continued 6

Do you think of me as much as my mind runs on you?
Do you miss me as much as I miss you?
Do you ever regret leaving without a word?

I’m scared...even as a health care person... my city has 4 confirmed cases of Coronavirus... and I flew to Thailand 2 days ago and Thailand has 8 cases...too scared...

It is scary to be sure. If you need to go out, make sure you are wearing a mask and bring hand sanitizer.

I knew something was off with that email, I’m glad I called the bridal shop and got things straightened out. A woman in Indiana with my last name and a similar email address made a bridal appointment and I got the confirmation. The bridal shop left off the first letter of her name, so I got the confirmation instead. I’m glad I called.

Right now, the fact that I’m a sentimental fool feels bittersweet. Packing up the desk I used to sit at to do my homework, and I found two handwritten notes. Recognised my mum’s handwriting immediately. Sweet notes she had written me in my teens... not even sure why I kept them, but I’m now very glad I did. Despite the fact I’m sitting here crying over them. In one, she had written my name in bubble writing, and coloured in each and every letter in a different colour.

I wish I could go back.

You just did.
Although not within the same context. Memories are just as precious. They keep us grounded, learning and fill our hearts with the love we always knew.

Dang, by the time I bought the faucet rebuild kit, smooth jawed wrench and an "O"- ring pic it was still a lot less then what a plumber would have charged. Next time it'll be dirt cheap, so long as my tools don't disappear on me again. :)

Har! I often mutter curses towards my neighbors and family members when I can't find my tools, only to realize the problem is that I put them back where they belong. My efforts at getting organized are usually self-defeating.

Thank you :rose:

It was just so unexpected to come across the notes, I’d completely forgotten she did that. I have this vague memory of her leaving notes in my lunch box when I was in primary school, but I wasn’t sure whether I’d made it up! I’m going to laminate the notes and make sure I keep them safe :)
