Caught a couple of movies today - both first viewings.
First, Species III. Say what you will, but this is is a thoughtful, intelligent franchise, although it's best not to question the science. What more do you want past awesome naked women looking to breed and great action?
Works for me.
Next was American Warrior, a low budget 'Rocky' that worked on several levels. It seems a bit slow for a while, and sometimes seems like a super-long fighting montage, where the fighter continuously fails, but it pays off in the end, and was great role for Danny Trejo.
