Im about to have a shower so in @UsuallyPresent style.

Good King Snexxer stood quite bare,
Socks were gone, oh dear!
Tiptoed toward the shower stall,
Tiles were cold with fear.

Rubber duck looked on in shock,
Soap slipped from his hand,
“This is not my finest hour,”
King said, not as planned.

Turned the knob and yelped out loud,
Cold then blazing hot!
Danced a jig upon the mat,
Regal grace: he’s not.

Soon at last the water’s right,
Steam rose like a cloud,
Good King Snexxer sang off-key,
Splish and splash and proud.
