Awww...sorry to hear that..but if i may add my 2 cents worth..sometimes on here you see an av of a woman..and you say "hey gf" and they snap on you and say "uhh..i'm a guy"..well..LoL Maybe they need to make that known in a sig line fashion..if i had a pic of a guy in my av..i would imagine people sayin "hey guy, hey buddy"..ya know?? LoL Sometimes people's user names are genderless..like mine perhaps even posts can be genderless..and when i've run across situations like that..i do like you do..i check the profile..LoL and if it still doesn't say...well..guess i gotta chance it..LoL

Honesty...a woman that I could truly talk to about what I'm feeling and what that means...I love humor but honesty is far more important to me....Getting to know another person is a wonderous thing to me...when I'm exposed to the ideas of another it helps me understand the world so much more than I could on my own....

Have been pondering this since I read it earlier today..What attracts me..Hmmm..

Someone with a sense of humor
Someone who makes me laugh
Someone who is there for me when I need a shoulder to cry on
Someone who likes me for who I am, sees the me inside not just the exterior, because IMO looks are not everything
Someone who I can be content with just to sit and watch tv with
Someone that makes me look forward to starting the day hearing his sexy voice telling me to get my ass out of bed
Someone who we end the day with a call at night before going to bed.

Those are just a few things..I know there are more but that is all I can think of now..

Someone who is confident with themselves
Enjoys life ,love and all that comes along
Openminded or willing to venture
Will speak their piece and stand by thier values and morals
Looks and age are only superficial.......I look inside one's soul for the inner beauty
To love and be loved as a freind or lover

Yes, it can be hard sometimes not to love someone. But it sounds as though you have a special someone. Is he special only online.. or in real life as well?

yes that does fit you very well...gee you read between the lines....sorry to say only online for now...he's pretty private and shy...so don't want to embarrass him but you know I have been on here since last Oct...and he's the first that I have really made a connection with....special yes....I have one of your mates in the kitchen....he needs someone to write with him....I dont have time...

Rose, I think that our first connection here is like our first love.. you never forget them, or quite get over them.

My first here was BlueDolphin. He and I used to cyber over in chat, and could hardly keep our virtual hands off each other. We've both moved on, but still have a deep fondness for each other that I think will always be there.

I've just popped in to the Kitchen, and I see what you mean. I don't have the time to write either... I much prefer to be here with my friends.

Ohhhhhhhhhh your not vain....hon...and this person is rather shy....lol...and you know me...I'm very outgoing....my kitchen thread just happened to take off and keep growing and growing....it started off with a question...why my threads dissappeared...but now it's more like a gathering...and we do mostly talking and flirting..no many pics in there...but I did my share of that when I first got on Lit....
Oh I can imagine the problems with dancing..but I'm glad to hear you do that..it's one of my favorite things to do also...and I'm a hell of a good dancer...even at my age it was just the mental picture of the 2 of you...but what really impressed me was the age difference...and you know that works both ways...I have had some very immature ones that I thought...MMMMMMM mmmmmmmm ok now go...if you can't talk and carry on a conversation...hey I'm wasting my time...and I have gotten a lot more choosy....hey age does come with some perks!!!!
