HOW is the gum option not winning by a huge margin?

I don't do anything with my nails. You lose all respect walking onto a football field in stripes and with colors on your fingers. Go figure.

My fingernails are either bare or, if I'm doing something dressy, I go with french polish (pinkish clear base). Fancy nails don't last very long at the stables, and my horses, dogs, etc., don't care. ;)

On my toes right now I'm wearing OPI "Who Needs a Prince?" pink. I usually go for pinks or peaches in the summer, and couldn't resist this name. FYI, they also have a "Marquis D'Mauve" and "My Daddy's the King" and.... you know, its worth looking at the color chart even if you don't wear polish. :)

I remember wearing I'm Not Really a Waitress to my senior prom. I think that's honestly the last time I had my nails done.

None

I really can't remember the last time I painted my nails, my wedding possibly (8 years ago). I know I haven't painted them in 6 because I can't because of my job.

Applying nail polish is harder than it looks.

Yes, I agree.

I used to paint my nails every week in when I was a kid and in high school and college, but I've lost the habit for some reason since then, around the time I started working full-time. I keep them relatively short because I type a lot and longer nails hurt when I type. I had an assignment a while back to take a specific series of dirty pics and one part of my assignment was to paint my nails. It was very sexy to see my burgundy-covered nails doing something naughty in the photos. :D

Get someone to give you a pedicure.

I love it when a man gives me a pedicure. I don't mean an actual manicurist, I mean like your significant other man. It can be so erotic and playful.

I keep pale gold or pink (pink in spring/summer, gold in fall/winter) polish on my toes because I'm self-conscious about how they look. I keep my fingernails nude because I do too much work with my hands to bother keeping them polished.

Where's my gum? Can I have sugar-free cinnamon? Pretty please?

I almost never have my fingernails painted either. But I ALWAYS have polish on my toenails. I like bright and dark reds. And some pinks. Right now I have OPI Color My Heart Red on my toes. My other favorite color is called Wine With Everything by Revlon. It's a nice dark color.

And I'd like spearmint gum please. :D

Does dirt count?

It stile amazes me how much shit can wash out from under their. No bathroom is complete without a scrub to make cleanup fast.

I don't wear nail polish on my fingers, cause I don't have time to redo it daily, and I hate chipped nail polish.

My toes are a very dark pink. I was blood red all summer, but now I'm bored of that color.

I never used polish until a few years back and now ... my toes are 90% of the time polished and my hands are 50% of the time.

In the spring/summer I love french nails, especially for my toes, with a pink or beige base. Otherwise I like light colors like pale yellow, ivory, lame whites, golden apricot.

When I feel crafty, on my hands, I do the decorative stickers (flowers, snow flakes, etc.).

In autumn/winter my toes are usually red (with or without lame), pink (with or without a top coat of shiny lame) or, rarely brown.

Hands are often just a light top-coat or ivory and then I match my toes polish when I'm going out.

Never tried blues, greens, fuchsias, or blacks. But I'm curious to try to make french nails with black tip, or black base and silver tips.

TMI .... LOL

:rose:

Black french is VERY popular here in Oklahoma, girls get it all the time and I think it's adorable.

I did a red base with a black tip and a very thin line of silver glitter separating the two colors. It was AWESOME.

I just bought a glittery grey colour - it goes really well with my new dress!

That sounds lovely!
My hand is not steady enough for the thin separation line

Last winter here in Japan, the 3 color gradation/combination polish was very popular. This winter, I'm not sure yet but it seems to be more with the bold colors and a lot of decorations.

That sounds gorgeous. I'm currently wearing Revlon Raven Red.

Sadly, I change them depending on what I am going to wear the next day...I know, I know it is a sad fact that on this I am just a little bit obsessional.....OCD?

Black french is pretty popular in Oregon, too. My friend, M, does that occasionally, and I've never seen her do something that isn't stylish and elegant.

I have really small hands and nail beds, so I try to stick with simple. Every time I've done something like french manicures and stuff, it looks stupid.

If that's your only claim to OCD you're not. That's just someone with an eye for detail who's careful about their appearance.

I've had one nail painted once and I did it myself. I figured I would try to figure nail polish so's I could apply it to a woman should the urge strike me. The first time I painted MIS' nails, her comment was "Wow, you dod this better than I do."

Applying nail polish is harder than it looks.

Your abilities can't have anything to do with the miniatures, ya think?

Fingers: I'm not actively biting them, how's that for a start, so I have topcoat with nothing under so I can toy with it when the chewing urge strikes.

Toes are Affair in Red Square by OPI.

Toes are usually OPI's Chocolate Moose. Fingers, if they have polish, are usually the light pink base used for French nails.

Do I have to?

None on fingers or toes unless there is an occasion, then red or pink. Whatever shade appeals to me at the moment in that spectrum. My feet are terribly ticklish...and I hate people touching them.

i have specific instructions on nail/toe color...it has a particular meaning to Sir, and therefore to me.

i have to say that i never used to care about them. But now they are looking the best they ever have. i have gotten used to doing things around them (except i can't play guitar :( ) and i love how they look in pictures too.
