What did you accomplish today?

From awaking to now: Dressed, fed dog, packed lunch and breakfast, let dog back in, left for work, arrived and got one reluctant child off a special ed bus, waited another special ed bus to arrive and took two more to the classroom, unpacked and hug up backpacks, took 6 kids to breakfast, carried trays, opened milk, helped feed, took a wheelchair student to bathroom and them to shop at a Santa shop, back to the room to work with letters, played counting and guessing games , helped clean and change clothes of student who pooped everywhere, took 6 kids to lunch (see breakfast, pretty much the same routine) took the wheelchair student to bathroom again, had lunch, took 6 kids to recess, took wheelchair student to bathroom for last time, helped 6 kids make ornaments using glue and glitter, packed backpacks, took two to bus and buckled them in, left remaining with teacher and drove to bank to get money to pay a gutter guy, got home. Got home. Sat down. Thinking about supper

Note failed to mention constantly getting a kid off bookcases, desks and windowsills cause he likes to climb.

I got A LOT of shopping done. Every store I went in I seemed to find the perfect gift for someone! Plus, the mall wasn't even that crazy crowded :D

Picked up my mail
filled up my truck with gas
got lunch at the drive thru
settled in on the couch and read a book

unloaded the dishwasher and rinsed and loaded it back up with the sink full of dishes from the last couple of days

finished up putting things into gift bags, ready for delivery

cleaned up the carnage that wrapping left around my dining room table

put away the load of laundry that I folded two days ago and tossed back into the basket

loaded the dirty stuff into my briefly empty basket

plus my normal work morning ramp up things..

If I have to be awake 2 hours before the alarm, I might as well get shit done..

A good workout, some decent writing, both kids fed, and the Christmas tree down and stowed.

There’s this thing called a dryer. You turn this knob that has numbers on it. You guess on the correct number. You fill it with wet clothes. You shut a door. The purpose of the door is to keep the clothing from falling out. You push a button that has the word start on it. The purpose of the start button is to start the dryer. Then I assume that the clothes spin around inside and there might be some type of heat that is applied and comes on. Then you pretty much don’t do anything for awhile. Then you hear a buzzer. The purpose of the buzzer is to know that it’s okay to open the door. You know the door that keeps the clothes from falling out.

Sent out some templates to my Writer's Group on how to provide more meaningful critique comments for stories, plays, screenplays and poetry.

went to work, did groceries, made dinner, cleaned the kitchen, now laundry.... productive day.

cut up the tree and put it out....did my laundry...made an appointment for my car to be checked....went to the store...put the dishes away...

Well, I ran a few miles, went to work, cooked dinner for myself and my kids in crock pot while at work, made dinner and ate alone as my kids had plans they forgot to tell me about, dusted and vacuumed the lonely house, and then pulled up lit, so no I didn't accomplish anything today.

Worked out, had a lot of orgasms, took the bins to the street, did a little grocery shopping, got dinner started.
