Finally, time to paint the dragon.
No, that is not a euphemism. I'm really painting a dragon!

finally got home without falling asleep at the wheel. I think that rates as an accomplishment.

Got some gardening done, played with a puppy, and navigated my way home from the beach avoiding the traffic.

started mowing the lawn, got about half done and then the rain came, will probably take 2 days to dry out,

I honked at a number of cars that were driving too slow. Oh, and flirted with the women at the barber shop while getting a hair cut (actually got them all cut).

Worked in the yard - weeded, watered, fertilized, planted some annual color spots.

Laundry. Always laundry.

Made jam. :D

I worked a shift at the second job followed by some grocery shopping and some lawn mowing.

Well, yesterday as it's first thing here:

Sorted out a swarmed-out beehive, still burgeoning with huge numbers of remaining bees, so that I have two hives from it, each one with a magnificent Queen Cell ready for a Lady to emerge from it in the next few days. I lost the mother Queen and her older flying bees to a wood not far from us. I hope they do well there.

I remain in awe about the power of life and urgency of reproduction which swarming illustrates so alarmingly and grandly!

ate granola

washed, hung out, brought in a load of laundry

shopped for household stuff at Kmart and food at Albertsons

made a plan of action to deal with Total Crap Days, got approval from the Boss

made hot chocolate for one of the little girls

laughed with second daughter

ended on a better note than I started

Me too. Even that was hard work. For some reason my back was hurting. Could be old age or a hard matress. I blame the matress. Sure miss the waterbed we had since 1970.

Sleep number bed.. I invested in one 7 years ago when my waterbed frame was to worn out to screw back together one more time without a carpenter's assistance. Best investment ever. I still love my bed!
