Other than my daily (well almost daily..) walk and eating lunch, nothing at all. I still need to take a shower.

Today I accomplished finished a third task on my list of things to do...two more to go and then I can have a nice four day vacation.

It's more than just today but a major accomplishment! I was off work for 3.5 months for cancer treatment, had to spend 6 weeks in a different town from my current home all on disability of less than 50% of my normal paychecks. I have been blessed with friends and family who stepped up when it mattered most, both financially and physically. Yesterday was my first full paycheck since I went back to work the end of October and I was able to pay all the bills needed this week and still have enough left to do gas and groceries. Owe less than $200 still on my medical bills, a major achievement with my pay level and a $5000 out of pocket threshold. And got here without resorting to credit cards except the past week's groceries. And all without getting behind on anything or messing up my credit.

Enjoyed a latte on the patio

The cancer?
Cancerous ex-pleomorphic adenoma in the lacrimal gland. Essentially I had a 5 cm lump sitting on top of my left eye. Fortunately it was self contained and 2 surgeries got it all out.

Changed the sheets and swapped out all of the towels, did laundry, made coffee, built a fire in the fireplace, watched football, talked to an old friend, wandered around tumblr, ate some saltines with peanut butter, have not yet left the house.

I love being a deer camp widow for a couple of weekends every year.
