What did you accomplish today?

Absolutely nothing! It was the plan all along for this chilly (for California before you East Coasters say something about my not knowing what cold really is HAH!) day. :D

Installed a new garage door opener. It wasn't too hard to do, but it didn't fit just right, so I needed an extra trip to the hardware store and it had those sensor things to install and hook up too. It took about five hours from start to finish, but I saved a few hundred bucks by doing it myself.

Yes but more importantly, did you wear a tool belt? Inquiring minds and such.

*waits for the answer with bated breath*

A Sophie sighting! *hugs your chilly California ass* It's about 20 degrees here - wanna come over and snuggle? ;)

Yesterday was my productive day. Today I slept in, threw in 1 load of laundry, got a pot of beef stew started in the crock pot, wrapped presents and wasted a few hours on the internet whilst drinking hot tea in front of a cozy fire.

Next on the agenda is to catch up on the last 4 episodes of The Walking Dead before the mid-season finale tonight.

Not a bad little Sunday.

Suz!!! *hugging you back with an extra squeeze* Glad to see you!

Your weekend sounds amazing ... except for the laundry part. *blech* I'm not a big fan of laundry other than it's a necessity.

Cooked breakfast.
Went to church, led Adult Forum, ushered.
Cleaned up from breakfast.
Put the tree up.
Went to the store and got gifts for my staff and groceries and booze.
Made Chex Mix (a tradition for decorating the tree).
Made dinner.
Cleaned up from dinner.
Decorated the tree (did the lights, hung some ornaments, ate some chex mix, drank some egg not).

Not a bad day. Not at all.

A pretty sophisticated Excel spreadsheet I created to help me plan my taxes, including how much of my IRA to withdraw per year.

I finished watching Windows 10 Update: The Movie. It comes in lots of parts and takes several hours to complete. It's a rollercoaster ride, with crashes, weird special effects and other unexpected twists. I was biting my nails at times, wondering if anything would happen next, and if so whether it would be this century. In the end, I emerged with a sense of relief, wonderment and reduced productivity.

The great thing about it is that it's a rolling franchise: it won't be long until there's another one along.

Dishwasher unloaded, reloaded, and washed
Clothes folded, and put up
And the post count keeps rising; I'm ahead of schedule :)

MF and I have finished writing the Chistmas Cards we need to post.

*hope you're watching your post boxes* ;)

Let's see...2:30pm, so far I've done two loads of laundry, vacuumed, set up next year's budget, changed my credit card to one with a lower rate, switched my car insurance, painted my toenails, started the dishwasher, and paid the bills.

I'm having lunch, and then I'm going to head out to the garage and start squishing and baling up all the empty moving boxes. Tomorrow is recycling day.

Days off of work are exhausting. :)
