Second Day of Interviews. Every single candidate was a waste of time. Like Yesterday. Tomorrow has to be better right?

It's only 9.23am, but I've completed the frickin' re-tune on all of the digital TV channels (UK issue), and sorted out all of the consequential problems that it caused. That took me over an hour, with reference to various manuals and online help.

Why isn't the equipment smart enough to figure out for itself that it needs to make a change and then do it automatically without wrecking all of the customised settings? Methinks the system has been poorly specified, with usability low in the priorities.

This annoys the hell out of me. Considering the age of technology, one would think that we could iron out basic issues such as this one with not too much work involved in tweaking it to make it more user-friendly. Of course that would be too easy.

Busy day.. took a cold shower (not by choice), went for mammogram follow up, returned something to the grocery that was open when I purchased it, had breakfast out, went to the gym to swim laps, filled the truck up with gas and picked up a few things at Walmart, stopped in the office and got my packages.
