Gah, my current story is stalled Stupid writer's block. I think it's got to do with the snow on the ground.

Hard to write hot when it's freezing.

I used to have this theory about writing "in season". It always seemed like if I let the season I started the story in slip away, I'd never get back into the feel of the story. Sometimes it helps to look at pictures of summer or to watch a summer movie or travel video. :rose:

I do that too. Just save them for next year. That has served me well this year. I've actually finished two of them. Won the Halloween contest with one of them.

Living in Texas, I don't experience 'classic' seasonal changes. It's warm, it's hot, it's warm again, then it gets a little chilly. Still, I do tend to write darker themes around Halloween. :p

Sex, yes. There will still be politics, just less of it. And hopefully no more American Idol. I am distinctly not a fan.
 
Too much VH1 reality and real Housewives for me to concentrate. I'm moving the laptop to the bathroom, or the kitchen.
