What do you consider "successful" for your stories?

success

Success of a story is relative and varies from individual to individual. For me it is not the score my stories recieve but rather the feedback I get from my readers. Simply put, the fact that someone even takes the time to issue me feedback after reading my stories gives me enough satisfaction in that I have written a successful story.

Personally, I write for myself. ...success for me is completing the story.

Here! Here!!!! Thats sucess .... with the piles of unfinished stories in my folder ... sucess is having one you feel is worthy of posting... The comments and feedback are all cudos and gravy for me ..... even if the gravy is burnt sometimes...

Polar ;)

The way I see success is that I got it written, accepted as good by my editor and Laurel puts it on Lit.

If no one ever read it, that would not matter, I did and I liked it.

Easy answer

By the numbers of people who wanted to use it elsewhere and how much did you earn from it and thirdly, does it please you?
