What do you Desire?

A cool breeze, a bite to eat, some nice red wine, and her, on the balcony sailing away.

What do I desire?

I want to be wanted. I want to stop being that guy that everybody sticks in the "great friend" column. I want to share myself...my passion... with somebody.

You are on a roll today WW.

I was looking to post more or less what you did, I would just add being needed. Being important, needed and desired would pretty much sum it up. Well done ^5

Thanks, Trent. sorry you're in the same boat, though. See, the problem with adding "needed" is -- well, frankly, I feel needed by people -- needed to solve their problems and to help them feel better about themselves. If I'm going to be needed, I want it to be because they need ME and not just a cheaper alternative to a therapist.

Oh, and just so I don't break the stride of the thread, and to show that not all of my desires are so deep....

I also desire chocolate mousse. Such an odd craving to have. Hmm.

Yeah, I know.

Okay, before bed... one last thought. I desire to make someone's toes curl and her heart race, not just in the bedroom, but with even just a shared smile at someplace like the grocery store.

Hey, what can I say? I'm a romantic at heart. And maybe one day, I'll find somebody who actually appreciates it.

You ARE!!! Oh, to be in South Milwaukee... ;)

You are all posting desires that I hold within myself. Here I am at Social Secutiry age and have never felt that anyone needed me for anything more than fixing their problems, or whatever is at hand that particular second. Nevere being really wanted, never feeling I was a really close friend, never haveing anyone want me for anything but a quick-fix to a minor problem. Life is so freakin frustrating! I sometimes wonder why I ever let it last this long!!

I am very sorry to hear this. I can understand how frustrating it can be. Life can be very unfair. Wish I could do something for you but I know there is not. But I am sending you a big hug anyway.
