What does your bedroom look like?

Wonderful space, whats up with the teddy bear? :D

Awwwww, you have a teddy bear on your shelves! How cute!
Yes I really do think it's cute...I have a teddy bear obsession.

Thank you :)
That teddy is actually not mine. A friend won it at an amusement park but it was to big to fit in her suitcase, so I'm keeping an eye on it. I have two other teddy bears that are sitting two "cubicles" closer to the wall so you don't see them in the picture.

Hmm...

i really love that teal toned wall .. and the wooden cubicle shelf too ... and the track lighting ....
We have talked about possible adding color to our walls here and that tone of teal is a shade that could work for us. Master is color blind and would see it as gray, but i see it as teal. He likes gray .... it could work. :)

Thanks :)
I like that color as well. It's a bit more blue then it looks like in the picture. It makes the room peaceful. :)
The track lightning and the cubicle shelf are both from IKEA, just like the wardrobe and the bookshelfs and the carpet and the pictures on the wall and the plants and ... :D

My room's not kinky at all. It's jocky geeky college student modern, I guess. Over flowing book shelves, dresser covered with athletic tape, bandages, ibuprofin bottles and jars of tiger balm and the like. One corner full of soccer balls, pads, cleats, other gear. A bed that gets made about half the time with wild sheets. Today's selection has ice skating moose and penguins on them. Some plants, some cool posters, some pictures that mari took in Mexico. And a cat. Must not forget the obligatory cat.

I have no pictures of my bedroom yet and no plans to clean it up enough to take a picture. My whole house has that "lived in and enjoyed" look to it. My bed is a four poster "cannon ball" bed made of oak. I would like to get rid of it since I've fucked every man I've ever fucked on it but men LOVE this damn bed. After I was left while pregnant, I wanted only furniture I could move myself.

I have a picture of a nude female "newcomer" from the show Alienation in my bedroom. She is sitting in a chair with her ass pushed out and back at us. You can see all the little dots on her bald head and down her lovely spine. That baby has more "back" than me but she is just sexy as hell for me to look at. I used to dress up that way, only I did wear some clothe here and there for gaming cons. Spirit gummed things on so there would be no accidental peek a boos!

I also have the poster from the movie Ghost, laminated and mounted in the bedroom. It was the first movie we went to after we started fucking. I took the free poster out of a garbage can, where a friend of ours who saw the movie with us, put it. He didn't know yet we were together "that" way. We kept that a secret for a long time.

The colors in our bedroom are black and gold because I knew my husband loves those colors and I wanted to please him.

There are stacks and stacks of books and cd's all over the place, oh and clothes. It's a mess.

Anyway, the bedrooms shown thus far are great looking! I like them each and every one.

Gorgeous rooms, but where do you people keep all your stuff?

CutieMouse,

You will love your garnet walls. Mine are deep red and I swear I never want to leave the bedroom.

Alas, with children, the toys must be kept safely tucked away, but if you look on the left side of the photo of our bedroom, you can clearly see our spanking{coughexercisecough} bench.

I've only got two closets in my entire apartment. There is a decided lack of storage space....and I have a lot of just "stuff". Paper breeds in my house and while I love having lots of windows I could use a few more walls capable of holding shelves and pictures etc.

You can purchase 'bed risers'. Walmart has the best deal at about $10 for a set of four. We added them to a bed here and gained six more inches of storage space which enabled us to slip a 3 storage containers (about 4'X2' and six or so inches deep), placed side by side, underneath. It's amazing how MUCH stuff fits under that bed now!!!

Under the bed boxes have saved my life. I've got a four poster bed so I can't raise it any higher than it is without taking the finials off the posts, but I've got about 12 boxes under there right now.

Truly, if I didn't hoarde books I'd be a lot better off. When I first moved out on my own I could haul all my worldly belongings in the back of a mini-pickup truck and that's only because I couldn't put a mattress and box springs in the back of a car.

Over the years I moved up into larger and larger spaces until I inhabited a 3 br apt all my myself and since then every time I've moved the space has gotten smaller.

I've shed myself of many tons of baggage, but at this point its a matter of sifting. Every couple of months I'll sift through again and weed out more things to get rid of, but much as I love my current apartment the plan is to not live in a crackerbox forever.

If I'd just make the switch to digital for books and music I'd free up loads of space, but laziness combined with a sheer love of holding and looking at real books and albums has stalled that indefinitely.

I'll do some shifting and take some pics this weekend so CM can see the red walls. They're yummy.

George Carlin does a great bit about stuff, it is funnier to hear him do it, and if you Google it, it's out there to be heard, I found a transcript, below, read it, enjoy it, and then think about your stuff!

George Carlin on Stuff

Actually all I want is a place for my stuff, ya know? That's all, a little place for my stuff. That's all I want, that's all you need in life, is a little place for your stuff, ya know? I can see it on your table, everybody's got a little place for their stuff. This is my stuff, that's your stuff, that'll be his stuff over there. That's all you need in life, a little place for your stuff. That's all your house is: a place to keep your stuff. If you didn't have so much stuff, you wouldn't need a house. You could just walk around all the time.

A house is just a pile of stuff with a cover on it. You can see that when you're taking off in an airplane. You look down, you see everybody's got a little pile of stuff. All the little piles of stuff. And when you leave your house, you gotta lock it up. Wouldn't want somebody to come by and take some of your stuff. They always take the good stuff. They never bother with that crap you're saving. All they want is the shiny stuff. That's what your house is, a place to keep your stuff while you go out and get...more stuff!

Sometimes you gotta move, gotta get a bigger house. Why? No room for your stuff anymore. Did you ever notice when you go to somebody else's house, you never quite feel a hundred percent at home? You know why? No room for your stuff. Somebody else's stuff is all over the goddamn place! And if you stay overnight, unexpectedly, they give you a little bedroom to sleep in. Bedroom they haven't used in about eleven years. Someone died in it, eleven years ago. And they haven't moved any of his stuff! Right next to the bed there's usually a dresser or a bureau of some kind, and there's NO ROOM for your stuff on it. Somebody else's shit is on the dresser.

Have you noticed that their stuff is shit and your shit is stuff? God! And you say, "Get that shit offa there and let me put my stuff down!"

Sometimes you leave your house to go on vacation. And you gotta take some of your stuff with you. Gotta take about two big suitcases full of stuff, when you go on vacation. You gotta take a smaller version of your house. It's the second version of your stuff. And you're gonna fly all the way to Honolulu. Gonna go across the continent, across half an ocean to Honolulu. You get down to the hotel room in Honolulu and you open up your suitcase and you put away all your stuff. "Here's a place here, put a little bit of stuff there, put some stuff here, put some stuff--you put your stuff there, I'll put some stuff--here's another place for stuff, look at this, I'll put some stuff here..." And even though you're far away from home, you start to get used to it, you start to feel okay, because after all, you do have some of your stuff with you. That's when your friend calls up from Maui, and says, "Hey, why don'tchya come over to Maui for the weekend and spend a couple of nights over here."

Oh, no! Now what do I pack? Right, you've gotta pack an even SMALLER version of your stuff. The third version of your house. Just enough stuff to take to Maui for a coupla days. You get over to Maui--I mean you're really getting extended now, when you think about it. You got stuff ALL the way back on the mainland, you got stuff on another island, you got stuff on this island. I mean, supply lines are getting longer and harder to maintain. You get over to your friend's house on Maui and he gives you a little place to sleep, a little bed right next to his windowsill or something. You put some of your stuff up there. You put your stuff up there. You got your Visine, you got your nail clippers, and you put everything up. It takes about an hour and a half, but after a while you finally feel okay, say, "All right, I got my nail clippers, I must be okay." That's when your friend says, "Aaaaay, I think tonight we'll go over the other side of the island, visit a pal of mine and maybe stay over."

Aww, no. NOW what do you pack? Right--you gotta pack an even SMALLER version of your stuff. The fourth version of your house. Only the stuff you know you're gonna need. Money, keys, comb, wallet, lighter, hanky, pen, smokes, rubber and change. Well, only the stuff you HOPE you're gonna need.

LOL, well last night my daughter and I spent the night exploring and photographing her bedroom.....tonight is planned to be the first fetish photo shoot!! To say I am in love with her room is an understatement, and it is still a work in progress. :nana: The first pic is closer to the real light in her room, but lit the rest up well for detail....ah, and trying to use a new program on the PC is a challenge and hasn't done it as much justice as I would normally like, but I like challenges and learning new things. So as you will see, she has plenty of shoes (including the loved pony boots), handbags, latex, and corsets, not to mention toys from crops to butt plugs and vibrators in the multiples. Sheeesh, and she has another toy collection downstairs!! Oh well, I can dream.

Lovely!

Just incredible!

I love rice carved beds! I bought two for my grandparents once. They didn't like to sleep together and they spent a lot of time at my house so I wanted them to have their own beds.

Hey I have that same red bustier the one closest to the camera!

I so would love to set up something that sexy not to mention have ALL those damn toys!

LOL, well we had fun last night experimenting with photos, though I think we left it a little late after a long day so will definately have to do a couple more nights of pic taking as we like a couple, but overall think we can both do better. She also has a lovely sitting room next to her bedroom which came in handy and photographs nice. Ah, and we had hjhelp from both her cats, though her male cat wanted to hog the camera and be in every bed shot. :catroar: Definately have more fun with it next time, especially if I can get hold of a tripod here for those slow exposure shots....holding your breath and resting the camera on your breasts just doesn't work quite the same. :D

Fantastic shots and I sure as hell don't fill my garment out the way your lovely daughter does!

You make me wish I were the camera though in that description!

sorry, no pic of my bedroom...

hardwood floors... stucco walls painted a light lavender... white ceiling...

oak four-poster queen bed, with matching oak dresser and nightstand... wrought iron mirrored dressing table against one wall...

the bed wears a fluffy down comforter and a plum-colored duvet cover... purple 300-thread-count percale sheets and pillowcases over three down pillows... when i'm sleeping alone, i have my head on one, keep another between my knees, and either hold onto the third or, if i'm in a sad mood, a stuffed animal (a soft, brown dog with a forest green ribbon around its neck for a collar)...

on the walls, a brass Green Man, a print of KISS by Tanya Chalkin, and a framed acrylic i painted about five years ago of Andromeda...

on both windows, deep purple drapes (usually opened) over ivory lace curtains and valances...

two alarm clocks, one on my nightstand and another on the dressing table (for emergencies or when hitting the snooze too many times)... jewelry box on top of the dresser... several candles, a rose quartz pyramid, an amethyst crystal, and pieces of amber and onyx scattered about...

Your daughter has a very interesting and pretty bedroom... the style kind of reminds me of ours.. (although her's is more antique styled furniture while our's is modern ...love either though) maybe it's the black .. the moquito type netting etc ..
Master recently purchased a tripod .. it does make a difference.

Couldn't think of where to put this, but thought it might appeal to some here. For myself, I have a love of the quirky and different, so this appealed to me on that level and I suspect my daughter would love to have it in her living room or maybe bedroom. :D

Cute lamp. My bedroom now resembles a stupid hospital room. But at least I'm not still there. I can definitively say, I do NOT have a medical fetish.
