I believe in the divine healing powers of lingering in the smells of fresh baked cinnamon rolls.
I believe that you can airate and let a glass of wine "breathe", swirl it and watch the legs swagger down the sides... but it isn't REALLY ready to be enjoyed until after its been *tinked* against the glass of a loved one.
I believe tears are a solvent to the gunk of heartache.
I believe that real laughter at its best should be messy, loud, gutteral, and snorty.. and yes even painful...Aching belly, struggling to breath, cheeks sore, bent over, or collapsed in a heap, with tears pouring out, unable to speak... maybe if really done right earns a little pee in your pants.
I believe in wake up calls and second chances.
I believe that no matter how deeply you love and support and want to help someone, ultimately they have to help themselves...and sometimes NOT helping is the most supportive and compassionate thing you can do.
I believe that pain has much more to teach us if we just face it, and feel it, and own it instead of running from it or suppressing it.
