well it is hard to tell from the poorly reenacted picture and my inclusion of the Lady and The Tramp scene but they are sharing a stretched out curly fry. What can I say...I just really believe curly fries would have enhanced that scene

Actually, I think belief and capital-T Truth are synonymous. The less factual backup someone has for their belief, the more they insist they KNOW THE TRUTH.
Truth in the sense of "thoroughly-proven, well-established, empirically reliable theory" is pretty much an outdated definition.
