The entire idea is kind of retarded though. Belief and Truth are two entirely different things. Would someone believing something that was true suddenly make it not true? If someone had no actual KNOWLEDGE of gravity, and just believed it, does that mean they'd suddenly start floating off the ground because gravity was suddenly false? Or perhaps you mean if you "believe" something that IS true, you actually "know" it? That's retarded.

People believe things that are true all the time. And people swear to Einstein they KNOW things that turn out to be wrong all the time. Scientists are wrong A LOT. You just don't hear about it because, obviously, when their test proves them wrong they don't go about publishing it. You only hear about scientists fucking up when it involves politics, religion, or the overturn of a long-held "fact".

Now, what I think you MAY be trying to say is "Faith is the opposite of Science". In which case, you may have a dead ringer there, at least for the purposes of a pithy pet phrase.
