This is a great thread...Lots of great thoughts and you all sound like you are so IN LOVE....I used to think that there was no such thing as love...
But I have some friends that I have had for many,many years that I can truly say I love them. We may not see or talk to each other as often as we like...but we are always there for each other when we are down or need a helping hand...
The day that my son was born... I could not believe that anyone could make me that happy and my heart was so full I thought it was going to burst out of my chest..And I finally knew what love was. He is my pride and joy and I cry everytime he does something good, hurt when he is hurting...his knight and shining armour when someone tries to do him wrong..
I hope maybe someday I will find a man that I can feel all that for and he would feel it for me, too and together we can take care of each other for the rest of our lives.
But I have some friends that I have had for many,many years that I can truly say I love them. We may not see or talk to each other as often as we like...but we are always there for each other when we are down or need a helping hand...

Love is seeing without your eyes
but knowing exactly where you are going.
Love is thinking about that other person's happiness
and not your own.
Love is knowing how to make them smile in a touch
or a whisper.
Love felt deep and burns even deeper.
Love is in a soft touch and gentle word.
Love is waking up and wanting to stay there
watching the other person sleep.
Love is wanting to give them all you have and all you can.
But....Love is what makes us smile, what makes us
happy, what makes us fly with the angels.
Love is never drowned out.
Love is never ending.
Love knows no boundries.
Love is feeling carefree and singing with the morning birds.
Love is feeling light on your feet and dancing on clouds.
Love holds you closer to your dreams and wishes than one might realize.
Love is wanting to do all you can for the one you love.
Love is wanting to be with them forever.
Love is showing you what Heaven is like.

that i was really nervous
the second time he called
i was more relax
as he knows how to make me feel so
and the words just flew
and we talked just like
two old friends
then he called again
and again
and again
and i can recognize his voice
easy now
as i have recorded it in my heart
(which makes my heart beats faster
every time i think about his voice)
the first time we argued
my heart, again, was beating faster
as i was afraid that he found me
irritating and disturbing
i really liked him
and was afraid to lose him
but thank God,
he's so full of understanding
and we started everything all over again
then ...
the first time he said he loves me
my heart was beating faster
worst than before
as my knees were so weak
and i felt like crying
because he feels the way i feel
and i thank whoever sent him
the signal that
that is what i want to know and hear
from him
later ...

i can't imagine
how noisy my heart will be
as there will be a big percussion concert

I have love for my family and close friends...
My only true love at this time is my daughter....but she won't need me much longer for the little stuff...guess that means I'll have to be satisfied with what I have til more comes along....

LOVE
Love is such a powerful word!
I have been fortunate to have family and friends in my life who allowed me to love them, and loved me back. There has also been the love of animals, and it still warms me to think of the many times the dogs, cats and other pets in my life showed their unconditional love for me.
Then when I didn't expect it, I tripped over LIT and fell IN love! That small little word "IN" makes such a BIG difference, and being IN love with Oman is the best feeling I have ever experienced!
Love does come along when you least expect it!
