What Is the meaning of Life?

You didn't watch Monty Python? That is the true meaning of life...

Now that I think about it...

A woman with sawdust in her hair, using a reciprocating saw.....hmmm, maybe that's a better answer than Crepe Myrtle...

Are you sure it's the saw you want to be reciprocating?

Sorry Roland, but this is too much fun. ;)

Well...

I was trying to be nice to Roland and get the weirdo safety stuff out of his thread...even though it is tremendous fun :), but now that you mention it, no, it's not the saw that I want reciprocating, Kitten, but you know that, don't you darlin?

What Xander said. It sure as hell beats the alternative.

Yes, but it was Roland who wanted to see how weird the replies got, right? If we didn't win, we came darn close. ;)

Ummm...

Well, I did cum darn close when you started talking about ergonomics, but then I started thinking about baseball statistics and was able to hold off...

The Secret of Life

I'm OK you're OK.
That's very naiive, but I'm happier being disappointed sometimes than suspicious and miserable all the time.
But I do have a workshop full of power tools (and I'm not afraid to use them!), so that might have something to do with it too.

Without question...to me the meaning in life is:

Unconditional Love,

With that, everything and anything is possible.

The meaning of life:

life n., pl. lives 1 active existence of plants and animals 2 living things 3 time of being alive 4 way of living 5 a biography 6 liveliness - life'less a. - life'like a.

... I'm going to have to go with Chocolate for my answer, too. :)

Meaning of Life?

Hmmm.... *forget treks up to sit on her mountain cross-legged*

...and then as always it comes to me like a light...from Merriam-Webster....this always leaves me drained when I use my guru powers! :D

Oooo, safety gear turns me on! Foam or fitted earplugs? With or without lanyards, c'mon, talk dirty to me. ;)

I change my mind, life is 29 CFR 1910.

Is that 29 CFR 1910.134? :D

LMAO

I'm sure we could work something out. Do you know ISO1400? DOT regs do it for me too.

Damn! A woman who understands. My hearts all a flutter.....

Yes, I know all of those although I don't have to deal with ISO 1400 to much as most of my work is domestic. EPA, OSHA, HUD........I am intimate with all of them way to much.

Actually, there my life.........:(

Yep, know all of them, HAZMAT too. Dare I ask what you do?

CIH for about 15 years, so I'm involved with all of those regs as well as all aspects of HAZMATs. Ever take the 40hr HAZWOPER worker or supervisor? I also teach those.

And how do you know these so well? Enquiring minds want to know.

That's funny, I was scheduled to take the HAZWHOPPER course through N.C.'s MESH program, but we moved because of my mother's illness.

I was the operational manager for a recycling company. I dealt mostly with PPE and safety training, bloodborne pathogens and ergonomics being our main focus.

Because the recycle bins were often used for dumping, we got more than our share of contaiminated waste, hence HAZMAT. We also shipped across state lines and overseas.

Wow. Sounds as if you've had more than your share of exposure then?

- to the industry that is. Sorry, couldn't resist that.

Its turned into a very boring industry the last few years. Hopefully you got out of it. Afraid I'm stuck unless I get back into being an MFCC. Well, I probably shouldn't tie up this thread any longer. Nice to meet you Kitten.
