I've tried to run V:tM games before, but they always fizzled out. Not enough experienced players to keep interest up and running.
But I miss playing my Ventrue Archon.

The rules generally apply that all below 5th or 6th generation are dead or in torpor. They are too powerful to play, and make for godlike characters that godmoders love to abuse too much.
Choose a safer route. Mine is 7th generation and plenty of points abound for her.

depending on the thread, it could be bad or good.
I can't forsee ever playing in a situation where a pirate/biker would be practicle, though. When did you choose those professions for him? *laughs*

Surely, in the logical sense, he pays his bills with a modern profession, yes?

Oh yes, he has a punk band called "Ninja Fuckers" that he plays with at an old D&D buddy turned WOD capadocian's bar, called The Deviant. Also, he has started a 'somewhat' successful pirate themed cruise line out of NY harbor. They had several legal tangles in the begining, due to some passengers going too far and mutinying, throwing the 'captain' overboard, and going on a VERY short piracy scourge on in bound immigrants, during which, one gold watch and a young woman's virtue were stolen. But since then, Jolly Roger Cruises has had every passenger sign a waiver of release, stating that the company is not liable for any action taken by said passengers if and when a 'mutiny' occures.

Honestly, I always saw the uber-powerful as a bore. Yes, it's fun to be a massive powerhouse and my Archon was not a wuss, but I find no challenge in just being able to 'do anything' like one of the Eldest can. The level of plot or threat to such a character would be so great that more than likely all the other 'normal' vampires (players) would be dust with little hope unless they can run fast...and where's the fun in that?

Here's the thing, I never developed him into a massive powerhouse. I used alot of his xp to develope some new disciplines, or create custom powers in existing ones... *House rules, gotta love em.*
His most powerful 'attack' if you could call it that, was using his flesh crafting to bind attackers up in their own flesh and bone...

I used my points to specialize Alais in Dark Thaumaturgy. Diablerizing her Sire helped. Being a member of the Camarilla, though, she's quite the outcast to the elder generations more...stuffy immortals.
