Phone calls, text messages, and a face to face with two school personnel... because another child threw a heavy object and hit my child in the face. (My kid was seated and following directions.) Got to have a "lovely" talk with my daughter about how she has a right to feel hurt, that none of this was her fault nor did she deserve it... that bad things happen to good people sometimes for no reason.
