Its immediately going to make people think of fucking work.
Some Software Dev out in Silicone Valley is probably creaming his Dockers right now at the idea of creating someplace new the pervs will want to be.
It'll have some new quirky shorthand name like "SLING", or KNOK or ARROE.. or something like that.
No one wants to go back to KIK and everything I've heard about Signal wont attract many.

What are your thoughts on Telegram or Discord? I've used all three but I admit I don't take full advantage of the features of any of the apps. Things like saving or bookmarking messages in Skype is something I have never even tried to do. I know folks do it but I dont fully understand why.
