What made you smile or laugh today? Part IV

Sunny, crispy morning, perfect for an early walk.

I got 2x10 points in På spåret (a quiz show) and guessed the correct cities before the contestants, which almost never happens and now twice in the same episode!

And I’m going to the ballet and dinner later today. It’s a fine, fine Saturday.

I did pretty well in the crossword competition, much better than I expected based on how I felt after the puzzles. Yay!

Things that made me smile:

I wrote a poem in traditional Korean style (sijo) over in the poetry forum, about an old courtesan.

---

Let me be Autumn Flower, falling slowly to the ground
Snow will warm my aching bones, until in spring my grave is found
All I have is this cage to give, forgive me daughter, let me sleep

---

I also helped a friend here with a poem that she was trying to perfect. I don't know if it was what she exactly wanted, but I am happy that she was extremely pleased.

Around Christmas my library wraps books and writes a little note for whom it might be a good match. You can then pick and check out a book with a note that appeals to you and at home you get to open the wrapper. I got Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin and it seems good!

It’s just like Christmas except better because you must return the book later so you don’t have to find a spot for it in your overflowing bookshelf. 🤓📚🎄❤️

I won J and his brothers in our traditional board game Christmas battle. It’s never happened before. I’ve clearly gotten quite a bit better at strategy games during my years of board game clubbing.

Also, Merry Christmas! 🎄

The more difficult the deal, the more holes I would be expected to make available.
I suspect that would be the case. The chance that our art work (you) being a static display is rather remote. And interactive artwork where our guests can do as they please is much more popular.

Finally 100% in Silksong! Goddamn Karmelita kept killing me.

Off to hunt the true ending now, I guess.
