What made you smile or laugh today? Part IV

Hearing my 6 year old great niece over the phone. She's will call you a suspect in a heartbeat and will treat you like one too. She loves spending time with me though.

Just laughed out loud at myself!

At work, I waited all afternoon for the mail to show.

Reading another thread and someone had today off and it made me realize today was a holiday so...no mail!

I feel so stupid!!! LOL

A lunch break walk. I work in a really pretty environment. :)

And leaving work early. I did it, had entire 7 minutes until the deadline when I pressed the final button. The thingy is out in the world now.

Hooray! Time to take some time for yourself.

Congrats on getting through that.

(Finally)

A lobster with breast implants, and a squalid public transport terminus.

English friend: My command of the English language is not so great.

Me: But... YOU'RE LITERALLY ENGLISH.

😂😂 🤩

Surfing the net, looking up old memories and actually found several YouTube videos made a few years ago of a favorite comedian in SD from back in the '80s. The beard is white now but he's still as talented as I remember. Turns out he made an LP that probably all 37 fans of his purchased and a single copy is on that popular selling site. I'm so tempted to drop the $20 on it but I no longer have a working turntable.

All the same, I laughed at his rendition of "The Raven" just as I did back then. :D:D:D

Seeing someone post a very sensible response in the midst of a very heated debate and thinking, That sounds like something cookie would say. 😍

Putting up two more chapters in a story project I've been working on for over a year. It's been hard writing lately, so it's a bfd to me.

I've really had such a good day today. I've done almost nothing today and it's exactly what I've needed. Just mindless couch time with a book, a cup of tea and pie. Ah.

A handsome young one, covered with fur, white eyes, always pawing my boobs, who's wants are rather simple. Smokey, the Husky.

Being accepted and encouraged to be vulnerable. I don't always have to be strong.

Sitting in front of a fire. Don't like that that the weather is getting colder but it let's me put the gas fire on which is good. So cozy.

Reading The Home Edit and organizing my closet. Who would have thought that organizing your clothes by the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, then white, brown, and black) would make my life easier. But it does. And getting a purse hanger clears up 2 cubbies that I can use for something else. Soothes my analytical soul.

A phone conversation with a mentee who is 22. Our lives are worlds apart but I'm having a blast working with him.

I woke up to an orgasm three minutes before the alarm.

Okay, it ruined the no nut thing I had going, but it was such a nice dream and such a good timing right before the alarm that I can't complain. :)
