What obsure skill do you have?

I can tie my shoelaces with one hand - something learned from eating and getting dressed simultaneously when Im short of time...

I can print in almost perfectly aligned, and continually proportionate block letters, free hand, with no tool to keep me on track.

I can pick things up with my feet. Not many people can do that I have found.

I Am This

I am a practicing massage therapist, and good at it.......

What can you do that is unusual, obscure, that bit different that none of your friends can do?
someone told me I had a knack for sending her song lyrics that matched what she was feeling... or picking just the right song to play for her. I dunno if that's a skill or if I've just been very lucky.

I can juggle. I love doing it in the grocery store with things like oranges or grapefruit. It never ceases to amaze someone when I do this before putting the items in my cart. I learned it many years ago from my brother. We even tried juggling things between us, tossing them back and forth, but I never could get it down very well. He can do it fine though, if he has a partner! :)

I can juggle.
you just impressed the hell out of me. I'd love to be able to juggle but my coordination isn't nearly good enough.

I pick some things up with the feet. it depends on what it is.

Sure you could! I love teaching people, it's really not that hard. With 30 minutes practice you'd be amazed at what you can do. :)

since you live so far away, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt... maybe you could teach me. all I know is someone tried to teach me once and it didn't go so well.

maybe we shouldn't have started out with the chainsaws.

LOL...it's been a dream of mine to juggle burning items, but so far I have resisted the urge. :D

if I ever see the headline "juggler starts colorado housefire" I'll know you finally gave in to temptation. :D

My hand-eye co-ordination is very very good. I do stuff without thinking and most sports like golf, tennis, etc I pick up almost immediately with no tuition.

I was a top 20 nationally ranked table tennis player not so long ago (in my youth), and excelled at most sports.

My mouse control is also very good, and I got over 500 on the tennis keepie-uppy game (which I can send anyone interested)... where most people can't get over 100. Though some people will tell you my keyboard skills need improvement... :D

I also win almost all general knowledge quizzes I enter(my father used to say I was a font of useless information and didn't know anything of use... bless him... but he was right), and I used to think I was good at compiling them... until I came here.

You're also good at exasperating me in the "Which Lit-ster is this" game! ;)

something none of my friends can do....
within my CLOSE circle of friends none can drive a tractor trailer...
none that I know of fix thier own car either...

nothing my co-workers that are friends can...
wrangle snakes, handle lizards or feed either by hand...

I lead multiple lives...
they rarely intersect...

Oh and most people can platt three strands together. For hair and such. I can do more. In fact, the family record, held by me, stands at 108 strings platted together in one ........... belt. And I can platt roundplatt too as well as flat :)

Swords, leather, and he knows how to use rope.....:devil::kiss:

I'm a contorsionist and I also have this strange ability to find just about anything people lose. I hardly have to look for it. It's weirded out a few of my friends in the past.

I forgot to mention my obscure skills when I was through here, earlier.

I can barbeque in the dark.

I can look at a piece of clothing and know whether, or not it will fit someone.

It's easy for me to understand almost any accent, or bastardization of the English language.

I can pick things up with my feet. Not many people can do that I have found.

Me too, but it can creep people out when I do it without thinking.

I can also reverse a trailer into a narrow opening, use a slide rule and I'll have to think about the rest.

Obviously having instant recollection of what I can do isn't one of them.

Er, change gear in a manual car without using the clutch (or crunching the gears)?

I can hear a word and immediately pronounce it backwards. Not a hard thing to do with short words, but when you do it with a longer word, something like "refrigerator"...it impresses the hell out of people. I don't need to see the word written down to do this.

I can do a wheelie on my motorcycle. Well, OK, a small one. :D
