What pissed you off today?

The inexplicable nature of racists; for the fourth time this month, some racist cockbite has assumed that, because I am a white male, I am just as upset as they are about the number of asian folks that are currently in the same area as us. They then proceed to commiserate with me, loudly and at length, about the "state of our country," using as many deeply offensive terms as possible. And when I tell them to back the fuck off, I get sworn at too, so I get the worst of both worlds. Outstanding.

I love Australia for many reasons, but it does seem to bring out the worst in some people. So why do they have to keep finding me?

Being starved of contact and communication and the conclusions one must draw from that :(

Hoping you are okay sweetie....Hope you get the contact and communication you wish for...

And yeah I finally heard about an hour after I posted what I did..Was impatient as usual! LOL :rose:

I had a fucking hell of a hard time finding my car keys. Wanna know where they were? In the front pocket of my 501's which were on the floor in my laundry room under a bunch of other jeans. grrrrr

Being right in my assumption that something would hinder this morning. Sometimes I like when I'm right; today I hate that I was.

Note to all RPers.

If you are only interested in pointless, cheap sexual RP, please don't let me sit there in an IM with you for half an hour while I detail out a carefully planned, intense, exciting plot for you that is full of drama, conflict and is fit for a fucking OSCAR, and then when I finally get to the end and show you my character photo of an absolutely STUNNING woman, propose one of your own of a giant-nosed ugly fake-ass looking PORN STAR, and then tell me when I refuse to use your character picture that you're looking for something more sexual.

Do us both a favor and tell me right away. That way, I won't waste my time in an IM with your loser ass, I can go on my merry way and take my extremely high quality story-driven RP to someone who deserves it.

Our digital TV reception. Three channels (on the same network) keep pixillating and disappearing. The rest are fine. It's not just us btw, our across the hall neighbour is also affected.

This has been happening for the past 10 days. It comes back, is fine for a while, then I notice the pixellating starting and I check the signal which holds at around 88% strength but 0-25% quality (meaning "no signal detected" comes up on the screen). I have rung our landlord (housing co-op) yesterday but they have yet to get back to me (if they haven't by Tuesday I'm ringing them again).

Either the antenna has moved slightly, something has corroded or come loose, or there's some interference from unshielded electronic equipment somewhere nearby. We had NO trouble up until the evening of 21st April.

Thank god for online catch up TV! :cattail:

Now the original...

Doctors who change your apointment multiple times and expect you to be perfectly fine with it. I have learned how to schedule my busy life, so if it isn't an emergency, why can't they??! This does not inspire my confidence in them managing my health

I get 7, whether I save them or not, if it makes you feel any better, LOL.

Weellll...

The selfish part of me: Yes! It actually does... thank You! LOL

The compassionate part: 7!!!! Wth? Those lazy, cheap a** buggers!

:D

Yeahhhhh... Unless this is a doctor with whom you've had a very long, very good relationship, I'd ask him/her for a referral to another doctor in the same specialty and tell him/her exactly why when asked.

It's possible, you know, that the doctor is not the one changing the appointment times, but staff, for some unknown reason(s).

Finding out via this post that some people get 30 days and I only get 14!! Ditto all the angry faces!!!

Verizon used to only save them for 21 days and then they suddenly dropped that. Now they are saved until you delete them.

Very good advice, thank you!

I was sent to him on a referral and do believe I will be getting another referral come Monday, as well as specifying why. I can understand that things happen, emergencies occur but this was the fourth rescheduling in a week!

The staff are laying the blame at his feet when they call and not claiming emergency reasons but overlapping scheduling made by him. So you are right, if it really isn't his doing then he certainly needs to be informed. If it is his doing... well at least he will have one less patient to try to schedule.

 Wondering when this occurred and how I wasn't informed? I'm on Verizon but I am still getting a 14 day reminder on my saved messages...

I may need to stop reading what pissed other people off... then I can remain blissfully unaware  and stay in the what made me smile thread for the most part. What's that saying... don't borrow trouble Lol
