What the hell…Chilly’s little spot on lit

In therapy I learn about my triggers…where they came from, how to recognize them, how to work through them. My biggest one is abandonment and it’s funny cause it’s not just relationships, it’s everything! Changes at work, changes in my routine, and of course changes in relationships.

On one hand it’s great being able to recognize it and talk myself down. It’s really humbling too…seeing how easily I can be rattled. This morning I was struggling with it on my way to work. Caught myself falling into old habits the last couple weeks. It was easier when I could ignore this stuff lol BUT it’s better to recognize and work through it.

Morning thoughts brought to you by ice fog, coffee and a text message from last night 😉
I needed that therapy on triggers right after my divorce. I was unable to forge a healthy relationship afterwards until I understood some my triggers (when I eventually went to therapy) and how to work through them. I am still a work in progress on this.

I never knew ice fog could forge a pathway to healing! 😁

The most amazing things happen in therapy when you start to look at those triggers. Knowing that they exist and how they work is one thing, but discovering where they originated is a whole different level of awareness. Then to learn that you can re-write the screenplay of your life's movie...talk about life changing empowerment! 🤩

Best wishes for new opportunities, new peace and new joy in the new year.

Big hugs from Sweden! 🫂
This time of the year many people are struggling because it brings back memories. Most people do the same every year because it's a tradition. And for some that could be a trigger. But I can see in your posts that you've come a long way from were you were.

I wish you a Happy New Year! 🥳🥂🫂
