Ok, Cyan, ready for this? He's my part time boyfriend because he only comes around when it's conveinent for him. Why do I tolerate that? Well, the band Offspring said it best when they said "I know I'm being used that ok man cause I like the abuse" LOL

Offspring? <perk> Where?!? Where's Dexter?!?!? Oh hell... Sawwy Sparky. ;) I don't like Offspring 'cause I wanna do Dexter (but it helps! lol).

How about an old fashioned date??? Quiet dinner, dancing or a movie??? Or, have a fireplace? A nice simple "picnic" supper on a blanket in front of a roaring fire. Or, make her a photo album of pics of just the two of you, pics from day one of your relationship. Just a thought....from a romantic at heart, btw...celebrated my 22nd wedding anniversary this year

The best present I have ever received was a love poem. The guy I was dating wrote it himself, and even though it wasn't Byron or Keats, I loved it! I still have that poem, even though the guy is long gone!

WOW.... kool good for you... and with that note I am still thinking... uhm... maybe a trip to the floradia keys or or to Japan or uhm... Teiland...

For myself, I have always wanted a long, memory filled love letter handwritten with love, heart and soul. Go all out and find photos that go with your memories and create a more detailed and special gift possibly in a book like style. Maybe clear the time to take her to favorite places you used to visit. Give her yourself and your life together up to now, in every way you can think of. As for a special gift above that.... is there anything she has always had a passion for but never done it or tried it? Something that she always wished for? Make it so.....even if it seems silly or something...it is the thought behind it that matters.

(oh and a dreamy fantasy kind of gift for me would be to be to be taken away without a care! Have a magical vacation planned all by you. The packing and every little detail thought of and taken care of by you. To a place that is either a special place, or to somewhere you have always wanted to go. Steal her away...make all the arrangements (say at work or for the family whatever the situation) just plan a time to sweep in and leave the world behind...pick her up from work with a new outfit perfect for the trip. Make a fantasy come true for her, and you both.)

Is it very obvious that I haven't been anywhere but to the hospital, store, school, and home for over 12 years?! Sorry...I love romance, and at this point it is mostly a fantasy for us! LOL

Whatever you choose, just use your heart and love to do it with that you can't go wrong!

That is true... But you see we me I make dreams come to life....

Do NOT attend the StudMuffin school of gift giving. It is rather unorthodox and most women would beat your for it, and not in a good way either.

This year for my birthday and anniversary I racked up a Red Ryder BB gun, a diamond ring, a book on editing by Arthur Plotnik, and a book on serial killers. Oh yes, and a cow windchime.

I would suggest you give of yourself. Start with a lovely poem composed by you. If you just totally suck at poetry, which you may as evinced by your spelling prowess, then get one from one of the old greats. Put it on nice stationery with some lovely calligraphy. Yes, you can pay people to do that. Wrap it all up in a nice grosgrain ribbon of her favorite color. An intelligent male will have the poem memorized. Recite it to her with all of the love in your heart while she is reading it, emote, let your voice love her, carress her, adore her.

It would help if you tied a diamond of some sort in the ribbon, like a nice necklace or a bracelet. For some reason, women are not only enamored of such things but seem to enjoy telling their friends that yes the diamond is nice, but the poem was the most romantic thing ever and aren't you pea green with jealousy.

This doesn't work for me. I prefer edelbrock, rochester, or a nice set of mickey thompsons. A 500ci crate mopar would be just the thing. Be sure and remind the StudMuffin that I would prefer the engine to the Mossberg.

Ahhhh... eh!... uhm... With the point to my spelling mistakes... English is not my first language, and two... I am the TYPO KING.... That is why I have such things as spell checkers or a wife who can fix it for me... but that would not help with the poem.. and to note I ahve already done the Diamond thing... 2k inset in 20k gold(white) with 4 opals surrounding it.

Well, then, you do very well in this unweildy here is the rule book now toss it out the window language.

I hope this helps. By the by, a girl can never have too many diamonds, or so I've been told. Maybe you can shoot off into other precious stones?

Sorry I am Virginally stupid....what did you mean in responce to my suggestions? (will continue to PRAY you meant you are going to make MY dreams come true and send me on my fantasy dream....) *smiles*

Seriously, I being new don't know you much yet so I would love to understand what you were thinking more. I am very lucky to have not just one but two men that love and do all they can to make my dreams come true, and I just couldn't see what you were meant.

Kidnap her for the weekend-assuming it falls on the weekend. Or the Weekend before-NOT AFTER, she'll think you forgot. Take her away from whatever is causing her so much pain. Go somewhere quiet. Do the dinner, the poem if you can. The romantic setting. Everything. Make her the breakfast in bed. Let the time be just for here and you-no interruptions, no other people-not even a waiter. This is of course assuming you have the time to plan and organize. Try a silly gift-like a stuffed animal or maybe something she collects. -Just a thought.

CB the pain that she has is medical... and with all the medical knowedge that I have and the docotors and everyone else she as seen... we still can;t find the problem. But taking her away is a good Idea... I think I just may do that.. take her home to British Columbia... where she is the most happy... I think I may do that.. Thanks CB

Sure Darlin... anything you want... I am the Dream waver and maker.... Believe and it shell be done... Think of it and It shall appear.

Not to whine....buuuuuuuuuuttttttt....whining!

I gave you the same idea in my first answer to your question and you were not all that impressed. I agree that CB's idea is a great one, since I had the same one. sniff...no no...I will be fine....(wink*)

Oh and may I warn you it is the longest most detailed and insane list or requests you could imagine! LOL

OK...this is not good! That was me and I was begging for the requests....geeeeeeeesh!

Would you like me to stop being a pain? I could try...
