What was this thread about?....oh yeah ADHD...support group? 😅

I've been home alone this week. My disorganised task completion has been left to run it's course. It's been fucking bliss. No nagging, nobody pointing out things that have been missed, no rolling of eyes. Everything has been done, mostly, and guess what?........there's been not one injury or death and no arguments about a poorly loaded dishwasher. Back to reality in a couple of days.

We are not the problem!! Neurotypicals are 😂

Can we talk about time blindness and coping skills? One of the reasons I’m so bad at DMs is because I’ve always *just* gotten one and am planning to reply *soon*, but then I realize that *just* was actually several days ago and I feel bad for not having replied soon…

Anyone else? How do I come up with a system that helps me remember when I actually got a message? Or that helps me parse out time in a “normal” way?

I get very few DM's so it is easier for me to answer them as soon as I see them or I have no clue when they would get answered :ROFLMAO:

Cheeky, I find that responding straight away is my only way of managing things like this, otherwise the smallest delay opens the door for slacking/distraction. Lot easier for me being a guy on here though, this penis I have seems to provide decent immunity from DM's 🤣. My work emails however get "select all, delete" on a relatively frequent basis, bad practice to be honest but really fucking satisfying.

I don't mark it as read until I've decided if I'm going to reply. I will then reply straight away, otherwise I forget.

I do all the things everyone does

I try not to open a msg until i know im gonna answer them or mark them unread or reply right away

The ones where don't do that i sometimes forget about it for weeks. Then I'll see that person in a random thread and them I remember I haven't answer
Working in a work-from-home situation has reminded me how bad my ADHD probably is. My work load tends to be light, so I put it off.

Then suddenly it's 11 AM! 😯 Where the fuck did the morning go?! Wait--pretzels!!!
Same thing happens to me
