AFA the grafting, a few years ago, a neighbor and I tried grafting cutting onto each other’s citrus trees. We have different types of trees. The only grafting that worked were cuttings from his lemon tree onto my kumquat tree. Now I have a tree that produces a lot of lemons and only a few kumquats, which is fine with me
