What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

This photo has made me so sad. Biscuits and gravy is ... delicious. This photo is basically a war crime.

😂😂 "war crime"

My children couldn't make up their minds about dinner tonight, so we're having lasagna AND chicken fettuccine already. What can I say, I love them. Of course, they had to help/learn and wash dishes!

I didn't really make it clear that I was referring to previous posts.

Thank you! I'll definitely look all that up. I love being creative with cooking but it's so easy to get in a rut.

Awesome information!

I've done that somewhat. I love different ethnic foods. I really think I want to explore simple combinations of fresh ingredients as well as more complex combinations with layers of flavor with herbs and spices. There is so much to explore and try.

You can even create your own Special concoction. I didn't know you can use light coconut milk for West Indian Curry, once I discovered this my cooking has expanded

I wish I wouldn't have the cilantro-tastes-like-soap-gene :(

I never got the soap taste, but cilantro used to have an overwhelming flavor to me. It’s grown on me and I actually kind of like that it is a flavor I could love and hate at the same time. Weird.

15 bean soup with added sausage for yumminess.

And buttered bread.
Fuck carb counting for awhile.
I just need comfort food.

And now I have 3 meals of leftovers and don't have to stand and cook for a bit.

I hope no one minds if I jump in. I made drunken noodles with squid and shrimp and crab rangoon.

That being the case, put three cheese brats in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the brats. Add a package of instant mashed potatoes to the broth. Stir in a can of sweet corn. Enjoy.
