What's everyone listening to?

In the mix:

D'Angelo - Voodoo
Chillis - Californication
Sade - Lovers rock
Craig David - Born to do it
The Roots - Things fall apart

Thus encompassing all of three genres...maybe i gotta spread my interests more to back myself up ;op

Soundtrack to Romeo & Juliette - I think this song is by the Butthole Surfers. *shrug* changed it from the Celtic bagpipe and drum which was a change from Alan Jackson.

Def Leppard and ZZ Top...
the third was Foreigner, but one of my daughters stuck in Backstreet Boys while I wasn't looking.

Alanis Morissette - I'm feeling the need for some "angry young woman" music. The Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie one.

A Perfect Circle, Outkast, Q-Tip, Our Lady Peace, Refused, Eminem, Tricky, U2 (the Achtung Baby record), Massive Attack, Black-Eyed Peas, and various Napster-procured live cuts and acoustic versions.

A trip hop fan Laurel? You must be one of the only people in america who's heard of Tricky and Massive Attack!
Have u heard Tricky's lastest offering (well it's pretty old now come to think about it). I've been thinking of picking it up but don't know what it's like....

Hey, Tricky rocks! I saw him in LA a few years ago and it was an amazing show. Martina is such a goddess. When he came out & did an encore of "Tricky Kid", it brought the house down.

The last Tricky record I bought was "Angels with Dirty Faces". Wasn't as good as his other stuff...too much experimentation, not enough groove. I heard he signed to Epitaph, which is pretty wild, but haven't heard anything recent from him.

What do you think of the Dandy Warhols? They're a Portland-based band I've been listening to them a lot lately. They've been called "America's best British band" 'cause they kind of have that Charlatans UK/Blur/Oasis sound, sort of. Courtney (a guy) is collaborating with some of the Massive Attack kids - THAT oughtta rock.

Right now?

The Sound of Silence.

Fools say I do not know,

I've heard of them but that's as far as it goes. I'm not a big fan of the Charlatans....they're just too unoriginal for me. To be honest i'm not a big fan of british indie....Oasis and Blur WERE good but not anymore...the whole genre is sounding really dated now. But songs like Country house and Married with Children are classics...

Do yourself a favor...check out the Dandy Warhols. Go to Napster and download "Bohemian Like You". You'll thank me, really.

Ok will keep that in mind next time I load up Napster!

If you haven't heard it already, get the "The Masterplan" by Oasis, probably the best song they ever made!

Right at this moment I'm in total silence, except for the sound of the furnance running, and the refrigerator is making some funny noises.

Somebody's Gotta Support Country Music

I tend to only listen to the radio during the daily commute. I love the morning show from one of the country music stations that is just at the edge of my reception range. They're supposed to be streaming to the internet now at http://www.97country.com. I've not listened to the net version to render any opinion of it.

Thus I pretty much listen to Top-40 country with a few of the classic country music songs mixed in.

97 Country! Haven't listened to that since I moved out of Lebo. It's outside of Emporia, miss it sometimes.

When I don't have an afore mentioned mood:
