Growing up we would only get ginger ale at New a years eve when the adults would use it as a mixer for the rare times they would drink alcohol.

I love ginger ale, ginger tea, ginger in stir fries, ginger candies, anything ginger.

That was what I was envisioning. I have found it is not pumpkin pie like to me which is definitely a sweet. Hence my mind went savory.

You CAN do it. The duck breast with berry sauce takes about 45 minutes from the time you turn the fire on under the pan to serving.

For the frowny face; you don't have to use duck. Any game hen will work with this recipe too.
