janey, your dinner sounds amazing.

okay cornbread will be made in a short while, but here are the beans with smoked ham hock, pecan smoked sausage, garlic, onions, jalapeno peppers and other seasonings. they simmered for four hours and made the best gravy.

gravy that will marry beautifully with the cornbread, later. *smiles*

Scalloped taters and ham and some green leafy veggie!!

That's what everyone else had...

I had 3 shots of Aftershock
A couple pieces of english toffee that I found in the back of the cupboard
several bites of crunchy kale

Now, If I can only find some dessert- any ideas?

Typical Texas Sunday dinner.

Massive T-Bone steak with one of the largest loin sections I have ever seen. Loaded, and I do mean loaded baked potato and lightly grilled asparagus.

It was yummy for sure!!!

i made butternut squash, sweet potato and coconut milk soup, with freshly baked crusty bread. Perfect on a cold day :)
