what's in a name

I've been known as boo all my life... am never called by my real name unless I'm in trouble or at work.

Honestly, I never liked Coleridge (or poetry) much until I started working with my daughter on her Freshman Thesis. Then, I really read him and have learned to appreciate it. I can't say I'd give up novels for poetry, but I certainly read him with a new eye.

<snip>It's a lovely poem. There's an eroticism that's always wrapped just beneath the surface of Coleridge's words. To read him is to be mesmerized.

Actually, I thought it was that south_florida_biker was already taken - I figured you were a cyclist or a motorcyclist! Guess it isn't quite that obvious :)

Etoile

many people have thought the same thing that bicur referred to biker.

when i joined yahoo and set up the name it would not take bicurious because it was too many letters so i shortened it to bicur.

april-wine

April because that is my name, and the "other" April had already claimed it....April Wine is an old 80's hairband in Canada....;)

My screen name comes from a Penny Arcade cartoon. I'll see if I can find it...
