What's on your Won't Do list?

Whoa! Hot is an understatement. Nice score, Satin!

Personally, I am hopelessly drawn to geeks. Not sure why. I look at the hot men and think, YUM, and then, inevitably, I end up falling for the bald guy with a lisp and a limp.

Thank you sweetie! He is very handsome. One day I'll convince him to let me put up pictures of him on this site so all my homegirls can drool over him.

You know what's funny though? Everyone thinks Mister is mixed, black and white? He's Puerto Rican and Saudi Arabian! How he looks like that when he's neither race is beyond me, but who am I to question God's plan for making a fox? *laughs*

OMG though don't you know it?! I love geeks. LOVE LOVE LOVE the nerds, the WoW playing, funny-tee-shirt wearing guys who can fix computers and wear glasses and shit. Oh Lord, that's my kryptonite. I can't help it.

Psst, Mister's a WoW playing glasses-wearing geek. Once they legalize human cloning I'm selling his DNA.

Favourite dive:

hell, there have been a few:

Wreck President Coolidge Vanuatu

Reef: Solomon Islands out from Gizzo

Hunting: Great Barrier Island NZ

Sightseeing: Poor Knights, one of the top ten dives in the world.

Cool! Poor Knights sounds interesting. I don't dive much here because the water is so warm and the vis is so good that snorkeling is really just as fun (and much easier). Not huge schools of fish but lots of biodiversity outside the reef. Saw my first lion fish recently!

My favorite thing is just watching micro life. I like to do shallow dives - maybe 40-50 feet, just rest my fin tips in the sand and watch all the teeny tiny stuff. We have lots of bulldozer shrimp here and they're a hoot. Also, I try to make myself as invisible as possible so that the fish will start behaving normally.

Florida was largely disappointing for diving but I had one of my favorite dives there, on the Duane. Just hanging on the anchor line during the safety stop was fun, with barracuda and rainbow runners and all kinds of pelagics swimming by.

I've never snorkeled before so my questions are going to sound really really stupid, so please forgive me ahead of time for my complete ignorance.

When a person goes completely underwater with the snorkel still in their mouth, how do they keep water from getting in their mouth?!

No stupid questions, no worries.

Basically, think of a snorkel as a big straw. On the end you stick into your mouth, there is a silicone flange that fits in and creates a seal when you close your lips around it. There is also a silicone square to bite down on, (gently). Unless you open your mouth or dip the snorkel underwater, there's no way for water to get in.

Here's a photo I grabbed off Google to demonstrate:

Oooh, okay. I've never even seen a snorkel in person. Makes total sense now!! So when someone goes underwater totally with the snorkel in their mouths, they do get water in the snorkel part but not in their mouths.

Very cool.

Okay, another question, do you have to get trained, or licensed or anything like that to snorkel?

Yeah, when you dive under, with your snorkel in, basically you hold your breath and then blow it out, hard, when you surface. This gets most, if not all of the water out. It takes a bit of practice to get comfortable with but it's not that difficult.

No certification required for snorkeling but it's always good to have someone who knows what they're doing to show you the ropes the first time, just to make it as enjoyable as possible. (How to fit and defog a mask properly, how to clear your snorkel, how to put your fins on in the water without toppling over, etc). And it's always good to find out about local conditions and possible water hazards whenever you snorkel in open water.

I've shown tons of people how to snorkel. Almost everyone gets it right away, though, for some reason, Scottish people just have a bitch of a time figuring out how to use a snorkel. Weird.

Lol...you just described my fiancé! Except he doesn't play WoW...he refuses to on principal- he refuses to be that much of a geek! He does play other games like it though.

As for the belly button piercing: I've had mine done 3 times. The first time was many years ago, when it was first getting popular. I had an allergic reaction to the metal and had to take it out. The second time it got infected and I had to take it out. The third time, I got sick of it not healing and hurting at the slightest bump and took it out. I'll never do it again.

I had my hood pierced. I loved it! It felt amazing and made sex better for me. Unfortunately, it kept getting twisted and would hurt when I sat down, and eventually, the hole started getting stretched. One day, I went to the bathroom and noticed the ring was gone. On closer inspection, I realized the the ring had torn completely out. It didn't hurt at all, but left my hood bisected. Lack of a hood has negatively effected my sex life, and I'm currently looking for a plastic surgeon to fix it.

I'm allergic to nickel and just about everything else. I usually wear the "sensitive" types of earrings. I'll probably have to make sure to ask for a piercing that is for allergic people too, if I ever do get my navel done. I know how badly it itches and gets irritates when I put on earrings that aren't sensitive, I can only imagine how crappy that felt in your poor belly button.

My cousin S had her navel done when she was about 19 or 20 years old, and it got really badly infected and had to have it taken out surgically. Yikes.

I'd like to get a cart piercing on one of my ears at least, but my ears are so sensitive to the slightest touch that I'm terrified it will hurt REALLY bad. I'll never know unless I go get it done, though. *shrugs grinning*

It doesn't hurt as much as you think it does tbh. I didn't have mine done with a needle, I had mine done with a gun that fired the earring straight through my ear (the earring itself had a sharp stem so that it pierced through) and yeah when it first went through I went *sharp intake of breath* thinking "ouch, that hurt!!!!" but it quickly faded to a burning sensation which lasted about 4 hours. After that it was just a bit tender.

Can you not wear sterling silver and gold then?

Oh, so it's not so bad then? Cool.

I can wear gold, as long as it's at least 18k or higher. Sterling silver, I don't know, because I've never owned any.

SIX MONTHS. That's not a long time in your eyes?! That's just about forever to me.

Good lord, I can't imagine walking around with an open sore for that long.

Mister got his ears pierced about....oh God, when was that?

Um, about a year ago, I think. It took about 9 days for them to heal completely.

Six months, I balk at that. That's a long-ass time. I have to say, though, that he looks HOOOOOOT with the big square diamond studs he bought. OMG. Pant.

If you've never seen Mister before, he's a stone cold hottie. He looks like Common. You know, the Hip Hop singer? They could be brothers.

Hang on, I got a picture of Common here on this link. http://www.drfunkenberry.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/common.jpg

Slap a closely trimmed beard on him, and you've got Mister.

I'd like at least one more hole in my ears so I can wear more than one pair of earrings. I have so many goddamn earrings I don't know what to do with them all, and I love them so much it's frustrating as hell trying to pick JUST ONE PAIR to wear at any given time. I honestly ask for earrings whenever someone asks me what I want for my birthday/christmas/mother's day blah blah. That's how much I love them. I'm almost NEVER not wearing a pair.

My belly button was healed in a month. After that I was able to do normal things again like swim and such, but they guy that did mine said that they really aren't fully healed for 3-6 months, just meaning that they are more likely to get infection or be rejected durrring that time. Mine migrated on and off durring that time, but found a happy home and healed. Really depends on the person. I tend to heal quickly.

How far did it migrate? And did you notice any soaps/lotions/perfumes/activities/clothing that made the irritation or pain worse?

I don't eat milk fed veal.
I'll eat almost anything else, including fois gras. :p But not milk fed veal.

I don't watch torture type violence.
I hide my eyes or change the channel or don't watch the program to begin with.
Someone has to still feel such things are horrible and inhumane to a point where they cannot be remotely entertaining. I am happy to hold that watch.

I couldn't let clothes touch it at all for about a week and a half. The friends that took me said that was kind of weird, neither of them had to wait that long with any of thier piercings. And for the first month, my work clothes irritated it a lot. I just had to make sure that I came home and cleaned it right away.

It never hurt. It was a little tender for an hour or two, but never hurt, unless it gets snagged, but that doesn't happen often. And any time I did anything that made me sweaty I cleaned it right away.

It didn't migrate far. I just see a bit more bar now that I did before. But I was afraid at first that it would come out completely.

That's so good! Do you still have it in?

Well, well. Congrats, Netzach. At long last, your state's got a pair.

Hee hee. Who wants to bet me that he can hold this shit up till Christmas? If we have two senators, any two, chuck the penguin or whatever, I will post more tit pics.
Whenever you're ready....

When I saw the headline, I actually thought of this thread too. Not to impugn JM's memory, but Netz offering tit shots is singular enough to be memorable.

Damn, sometimes I wish I didn't have such an awful short-term memory.
