She's working on it. As far as I have understood, the plan is to eventually do away with the categories all together in favor of tags. Which makes a lot of sense since many stories span multiple areas. The problem is, that Lit is a huge beast and the staff is two people.
That's a fine idea. You could have moderated tags and open tags. An author could apply any open tags to their story they want. Moderated tags would require approval from some anointed gatekeepers.
Whenever we receive a report of any kind, we look at merits of the report and go from there. If the story is indeed in the wrong category, we move it. If it is not in the wrong category, we don't. We do not move a story simply because we receive a report on it. In fact, the majority of reports we receive do not result in any action of any kind.
