What's your mood at this moment?

Same, why do I haul my 50 year old ass on this bicycle every morning?? I should look like Claudia Schiffer for my efforts 😂😂😂

But I don’t.

Do you bike to work or just for exercise? I sometimes bike to work but I hate the helmet hair I can never get rid of afterwards.

Mood: stoopid. I bought some skimpy, scrappy undergarments that I now don’t know how to put on.

Hoping to be of use.

For the hair. Can you wear a bandana or baseball cap something like that? Thinking make it to hold a ponytail...

I would love to help you do some searching on how to slip into the scrappy undergarments.

Baseball caps and such aren’t really office clothing even if we are quite casual dressers where I work. Ponytail or a bun are the only things that work in those situations but even that isn’t always so awesome because my hair just gets a little icky under the helmet. The answer might be to get in a better shape so that I won’t get so hot biking (does it help, I have no idea, but probably?) and learn to bike more leisurely also to not get so hot. Don’t see either happening any time soon, so I’ll keep biking to work only on days when I can bury myself in my office and no one will see me.

I found a picture of said undergarments and figured it out using the picture as a reference. But any clothing that basically requires instructions on how to put it on is not something I want to have in my closet, so it’s going to have to find a new home.

The paper clip will allow you to add a saved photo from your computer.. otherwise 5th from the right.. Just right of the text box icon in the second row should allow you to add a link.... I think the far right one if you type the word like outfit, you can make that a php link from a saved photo too... (I hardly ever add photo's in here so I am very rusty.

I cycle for exercise. I have been working from home for 16 months now but am toying with the idea of cycling into the city when the time comes to go back.

17 Kilometers each way 😁😁

Helmet hair? Hehehehe…..that would not bother me 😂😂😂

I do know how to attach and link pics here, thanks.

Mine is only like 4 kilometers and I still get a ghastly helmet hair that really bothers me. Even on a good day my hair is problematic, helmet hair is just an extra nuisance. 😅

I don’t think there ever will be office life like there once was. Most people have gotten used to working from home. We’ll have to wait and see.

Good job biking every day for exercise, go you! 🚲

I don't think I would have patience for clothing I had to read how to put on either.

For what it's worth, Seela, I've been there.

First, I rode a motorcycle to work for years. A silk hair-net style bandana under the helmet helps most, but can only do so much. Hair length, texture, and style matter. A lot.

As for the other, yeah. I bought this sexy little outfit for my sweet little spice of my twilight. Looked absolutely stunning on the model, and I figured it would on her. It got here and...

... there is a three-inch pile of leather strips somewhere around here that neither one of us could figure out. I totally get the feeling.

As far as my current mood...

Are helmets required by law there?

Are helmets required by law there?

Yes and no. The exact wording in the act that regulates it is that it is “usually mandatory”, which means you can’t get fined for not wearing one but the wording is basically a very, very strong recommendation to wear a helmet. Talking about good old muscle powered bikes here. For motorcycles wearing a helmet is mandatory, no leeway there.

I usually wear a helmet, and always do if I’m biking to work, because it’s a planned thing and I’m leaving from home, so why not wear it. If I’m out and about and take a city bike without having planned it, I obviously won’t have a helmet with me so I bike without. I love how it feels when my hair flies in the wind, but I also love the lower chance of dying if something goes wrong when I bike, so I wear a helmet.

Craving a) humiliation play and b) ice cream. Maybe they can be enjoyed at once.
