This article is very poorly written in that it bounces between events and the continuity is all messed up.
The jist is that a cop is accused of mis-stating events in a DUI stop. That led to a series of cases being pled to lesser charges. He 'retired' stating hostile working conditions after the stop including other officers delaying response to assist him on later calls. He says the whole thing is made up because he stood up for the other officer involved in an EEOC complaint and that the subject in the traffic stop in question is/was a PO/s mother.
So, is the guy a bad cop for faulty testimony, or is he a target of retaliation?
