Whats Your word?

Balance.

Even if I don't always have it, I'm always trying to in some way, or seeking it. Which can mean doing really out-there things at times, because that balances out the mundane things.

Unadulterated.

It was my title here for a while. Whenever I make an important life decision, it's after careful consideration and it's pretty much absolute. I was interested in BDSM and within 2 years I'm a TPE slave. I'm a morally motivated person and take the time to learn about ecology, the global economy, the environment, human/animal rights and so on, how the world works and how I'd like it to. Now I'm a vegan and in a business that is ethically motivated and as environmentally sound as I can make it. I am what I stand for, what I believe and there are never any half measures with me. Unadulterated it is.

This is a very interesting and insightful thread. Thankyou Minx.

Thankyou Velvet. The book made me think about a lot of things and I think its actually a really valuable excercise to look at how you would define yourself.

are you still thinking too Sir W?
I've thought of a couple, but they don't "feel" quite right, so I'm letting the thoughts quietly germinate in the back of my head. (Since it's dark in there, and moist, does that mean my thoughts are mushrooms? )

"Be the change you want to see in the world," Mohandas Ghandi

Good on ya, VelvetDarkness :)

word

Horizon. Serenity.

Good words. You must feel pretty up, optimistic.

Myself. I'm thinking "Restless" "Abandoned", probably more "restless". You got me thinking. That's good.

Journalist: So what do you think of American civilisation?

Ghandi: I think it would be an excellent idea.

Ghandi rocks.

I've been thinking about it since last night, when I first saw the thread ... and all the words that would come up in my mind would just represent a fraction of myself.
So I was going to post that I still had to find my word when I saw the post below and I went: YES!

So, sorry rinka for sharing your word

My word is TANPOPO = dandelion in Japanese

(coincidentally is also one of the names I use sometime...)

:rose:

As for city words I'd say:

Venezia = libertine

Tokyo = "cohabitation of opposites" (could not find a word that means that beside "contrariation" used in a totally different contest and only by a French writer, but a such a word should exist ... right?)

Hi rida! It's a good word. I like how it sounds in japanese, too. :)

So, I suppose we are weed, but also eatable :D

For me, Horizon is not necessarily "up". I have my pessimism, and my aggravation and depression, and ennui and moments of just....... AAAARRRRRGGGGH.

I just look to that spot way over there when I get those moments.

As Salvor said of Horizon, is the same with me and Serene. i have my days when problems occur, and sometimes get depressed or aggravated by them.

But i just deal with them, as they occur. And move on (or at least try to) as smoothly as i can.

To me, Serene is not just an inner feeling; its a part of everything i do, say, and am.

i guess the best way to think of it is as a raft on a slow moving river.

Drifting gently down, letting it carry me where it wants; once in a while running thru spot rapids (problems) and then climbing back on the raft, to continue forward.

And sorry if that didn't make sense to anyone, but its so deeply within me; i don't know how else to describe it. :rose:

It really makes sense to me.:rose:

This is why I am finding it difficult I think...I can think of loads of words that describe or fit me but not one that encapsulates me.

I wish my word was serene *laugh* but its so not

Hmm just one word? I have 3 sayings I live by...

1) Be careful of the toes you step on today for they may be connected to the ass you kiss tomorrow..

2) My mouth and my Attittude get me in more trouble than anything else I say or do..

3) When you finally lose everything you realize life is beautiful, nothing like a trail of blood to lead you home.
