Mabis turned her head in disgust at the sight of the creature standing before her. It still frightened her, just not as greatly. As she turned her head, movement behind the shadows of the tree line caught her attention. For once, Mabis acted with intelligence, putting her head on Drake's shoulder, feigning faintness. She whispered to hem as she leaned in.
"There is someone watching us."
"Where?" Drake hissed back.
"Directly behind you," Mabis replied.
Drake reached into his sheath and slowly withdrew his dagger. He suddenly pounced out of Mabis's reach and jumped and twirled all in one motion. He looked like the jesters that she had seen once at the summer fair. However, Drake's actions had more purpose to them than mirth. He stood his ground, trying to make out whatever was behind them.
A great being stepped out of the shadows and coalesced from shadow. Another joined him, then another. The three spoke in unison, their voices sounding like a trained choir.
"Fear not, we have come to help only," said the three.
"Why do you hide if you mean no harm?" challegened Drake.
"It is of no concern to you, now listen. Mabis is the greatest treasure mankind has ever known. The stars sing of her greatness. She will become All or Nothing. It is our desire to see her become All."
With that, the three reached into their own breasts and withdrew...something. Something that glowed. Something that shimmered and swirled. They stepped forward and Drake found that he couldn't move. As the three approached Mabis, their hands joined and so did the three glowing orbs they held. Mabis could see the first one clearly now due to the light and swore that her eyes saw the impossible. He seemed to be aging before her, and quickly. Before the space of three heart beats was counted, he and his companions (she could now see) had aged thirty to forty years. The sight caused her alarm. The orb left the three and settled around Mabis's head. It floated there for a short while before settling into her skull. She tensed, expecting great pain, but there was only joy.
Mabis looked at the three as they sank back into the ground from wence they came. She looked at Drake and saw the bitter look his face held. She knew that he felt a failure. She did not know how she knew, she just did. She turned to the creature that had appeared scant minutes ago and sensed only a desire to help. She also sensed a great happiness and looked at the creature's face. A single tear of happiness trailed it's way down her cheek. Mabis thought about what had happened and wondered only one thing. The creature was radiating a phrase over and over.
OOC: umm, just wondering. I posted here a while ago (a Dwarf), and I'm not sure if he's still alive or where he went. Sorry, I sort of forgot about him. Umm, can I bring him in at all? He's pretty good with a battle axe...
OOC: Funny guy, I took the dwarf (sorry- hope you weren't offended) and made him a fellow traveller with the crone and her apprentice in their quest to visit the Gods. Read all my threads and you will understand where he is. Right now in the story I think he's passed out somewhere while drinking with Dramaticulus in the world of the gods...
OOC:Tomar...(I'm back )

"...and then thier leader came up, a big son-of-a-bitch, the biggest damn ogre I've ever seen. 'e came at me with a club the size of a tree trunk, just itching to pound me into the ground." Galen leaned intently, watching me intently as I relayed my tale.
"What did you do?" he asked.
"Thats when I got mad. I got out m'axe, wiped off the dried blood from the were-beast and went at'im." I took another swig of my half empty ale mug and wiped the froth from my lips.
"That ogre was sad the day he ever learned to walk, I tell y'that much."
It had been a few days since we reached the castle of the Gods, and we had been treated quite well. Feasts at night, party's during the day, and plenty of relaxing. I know, we weren't supposed eat or drink, but it had been a while since we were able to, and I'm not a very determined dwarf. Well, if I have to live here for the rest of my days, I wont mind that. Now where is that old hag--I mean, young looking hag...

The Lady Danu walked quietly beside Lady Luck. Lady Luck was right in some aspects.
Hecate knew what would happen when the elves and the little people where revealed to the
world. Thus, she plotted a way to reveal them without bring the wrath of the Gods down
upon her own head. Now all the Lady Danu had to figure out, was why Hecate had such an
interest in this Maiden. Danu looked again at the image of Mabis, Drake, and Gelite. "Poor
Gelite” thought the Lady Danu. “She must deal with Drake, in his single-minded
servitude to Thor, and Mabis, who is still dealing with all that has happened in just a few
short days. Damn, but Gods really messed up human lives when they meddled.”
Gelite was having a hard enough time without having Mabis glaring at her. Although it
was a much better improvement over the yelling. Drake was watching Mabis closely now.
Trying to get a better grip upon what had just happened. Three shadows had come upon
them, and given a ball of light to Mabis, which was now in her head..
"Stupid humans", said Belial," they kill the elves because they simply appeared in midair and the humans think they're magical. I mean, look how many souls I have right here." All this was directed toward the last of the Three.
Mabis felt the power course through her very being and knew she was forever changed. She turned to look at Drake and saw him surrounded in a magical armour of light. The being that had recently appeared was also surrounded by light, but it was a swirling, almost magical kind of light.
"I don't know how I know and I don't know why it must be so, but the three of us now have a very intimidating task set before us. Certain Gods and their followers must die. And they MUST die by our hands. We will meet two others on our journeys who will ease the task and lighten the burden, but for now it is just the three of us." Mabis delivered the news and sank to her knees as tears rolled down her cheeks. What a task to set on the shoulders of one so young.
"Well now, what do we have here?" Belial asked as a demon approached him," no, I said cancel the attack, yes cancel it", he commanded in an enraged voice.
OOC:
Sorry, Ambriosaurus, I was completely new, will you forgive me, I hope and pray knowing that I am unworthy of your forgiveness(not sarcasticly).
OOC: i am changingmy gods name to Tassadar so i can use zeratul in other threads
Tassadar: as soon as i had heard them say this i burst into the room and removed my cloak of shadow...
"so my day has finally come.... let me join you in your quest of need...this is what i was born to do...my sword and my sevice"
"Finally, the attacks are stopped, Lokken has enogh power to become a god, so I shall present my argument to the council tomorrow", Belial thought to himself.
