Photobucket is great! Just upload and click edit then choose resize - easy even for the techno-challenged like me!

Photobucket and Imageshack aren't Lit-friendly, though.

For online hosting and hotlinking images, you're better off with a site that allows adult content and doesn't limit image views, like Google's Picasa Online. The Picasa program will allow you to resize as well, if you want an all-in-one thing.

For editing and resizing images alone, GIMP and Irfanview are both great, free options. GIMP is very much like Photoshop, but it's a little more user-friendly and of course free.
