I specified HOLY places, not HOLE-Y or WHOLLY. The Sea of Holes doesn't count.

Naw, Kim knows better than to target Mar-a-Lago. Too many Murkans would feel relief, not fear. Maybe he'll release the Golden Shower tapes instead.

Emperor Carrot Head does not have travel ban, to parade in front of his fan club. The Middle East is experiencing very recent increased turmoil, because of Emperor Carrot Head's very recent decision.

As NPR's Daniel Estrin reports on the airstrike, "Palestinian health officials say at least one Palestinian was killed, and at least 15 were wounded including two infants. One is reportedly in critical condition."

There were confrontations in Jerusalem itself as several hundred Palestinians gathered for Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third-holiest site. At the walled Old City gates, worshippers chanted "Jerusalem is ours, Jerusalem is our capital!" Scuffles between protesters and police were reported.

Trump's Tweets Are Still Snagging The Justice Department's Travel Ban Defense

What do we do with that?" Wynn asked Justice Department attorney Hashim Mooppan. "Do we just ignore reality and look at the legality to determine how to handle this case? If the reality is, that is the purpose, but the legality allows it, does that make a difference ?"

The US Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit in Richmond, Virginia, grappled Friday morning with how to square Trump's tweets with the administration's insistence that the president's third attempt at a travel ban wasn't rooted in anti-Muslim bias.

On the issue of whether the proclamation violated the Immigration and Nationality Act — which was the main focus of arguments in the 9th Circuit on Wednesday — the government is arguing Trump followed the INA's requirement that, to stop a group of people from entering the country, he had to find that they were detrimental to the United States. Judge Barbara Keenan asked if, by the government's logic, the president could say that because most terrorists are men, he was going to ban all men from entering the country.

"If 99% of terrorist acts are committed by men, aren't we really protecting this country if we just keep out the men?" Keenan asked.

gsgs comment-,steam coming out of my ears, because Emperor Carrot is repeating an outright lie about one of Roy Moore's victims.

Roy Moore resorts to telling a lie-

Roy Moore himself tweeted Friday: "Now she herself admits to lying"
Roy Moore tells lies just as evil as the lies Carrot Head tells. This is OK, because she is working against them ?

Emperor Carrot's rally in Pennsacola Florida was just outside of Alabama's state line. Who was broadcasting the film footage taken at the rally? The setup of the rally followed a familiar pattern.

Trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

I asked myself-

What was I looking at ?
Something that was "free from reality."

Who were these people taking part in a theatrical production ?

What nailed the definition down-

The rally is in Pensacola Florida, but this is Emperor Carrot Head's shoutout-

"...get out and vote for Roy Moore," Trump said to cheers and applause. "Do it. Do it."

No doubt, there were likely sincere Southern evangelical people at the rally, that are invested in opposing abortion rights to all women. OTOH, it did not matter, because they were unwitting extras, in a propaganda film. Times are hard, and some people think nothing of selling out their brothers and sisters for a few bucks.

It was freezing cold in Florida due to unusual weather. Yet, the theatrical photo op left children outside even though there was generous room left inside the venue for them. Hundreds of people that are supporters, were left outside..The local paper lied by omission, saying the rally was filled to capacity. No, it was not filled. It's a false advertising device, to make the rally seem more popular than it is.

What people were allowed inside the Pensacola Bay Center, were crowded and confined together in front of the cameras.Another private event, masquerading as a campaign rally.Let us. all it what it is. A commercial, a camlaign ad for the election of Roy the Pervert Moore. Complete with a big beautiful stage decorated for Christmas.

Here’s what Trump said: “So did you see what happened today? You know the yearbook? There was a little mistake made.” What Beverly Nelson did took great courage, and Donald Trump is implying that she’s a liar."

President Donald Trump walks up the steps of Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base in Md., Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. Trump is heading to Florida for a campaign-style rally in Pensacola. The White House has said the rally is a campaign event for Trump. But the location, near the Alabama border and feeding television markets in the state, stoked speculation that the rally was a backdoor way for the president to give embattled Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore's campaign a boost without actually setting foot in the state.

Friday story on emails that his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., received an email on Sept. 4, 2016 regarding WikiLeaks.

Turns out the email was actually dated Sept. 14, 2016. It was a small mistake but made all the difference in the story because CNN suggested Trump had been shown hacked files more than a week before they were made public. CNN later apologized.

Emperor Carrot Head has recorded automated phone messages urging support for Republican Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate race.

White House spokesman Raj Shah said Saturday that Carrot Head has recorded the phone message on Moore's behalf. Moore's campaign said the calls will go out to households Monday, a day ahead of the U.S. Senate election.

Kayla Moore, Roy Moore's wife, does not seems to think reality is necessary

December 8, 2017

Last month, after several women had credibly accused her husband, Roy Moore, of trying to seduce them when he was in his thirties and they were in their teens, Kayla Moore published on her Facebook page an open letter, signed by about fifty Alabama pastors, supporting her husband’s candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/roy-moore-and-the-invisible-religious-right

The letter was a sham. The names of the pastors had evidently been copied and pasted from an earlier list of religious figures who had supported Moore. One of the signatories, Thad Endicott, the pastor of a Baptist church in Opelika, told local reporters that his name had been included “without asking if I still endorsed Moore.” He asked for his name to be removed, as did two Montgomery pastors, Fred and Tijuanna Adetunji. George Grant, whom the letter identified as the pastor of Parish Presbyterian Church, said that he had not spoken with Roy Moore in a decade, had no contact with the campaign, and, anyway, wasn’t an Alabama pastor any longer, having moved in the interim to Tennessee. It seemed to me, when I encountered this news recently, that Grant raised a different kind of problem for the Moore campaign, because his inclusion on Kayla Moore’s letter suggested that the campaign had been overstating its support from the religious right even before the scandals broke.

Trump

He is the instantiation magnified of what the Republican Party has become. Reality does not matter. Truth does not matter. Moral values are fungible. What constitutes a crime is now debatable. Overt sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, and racism are tolerable. Even pedophilia is acceptable as long as the man doing it proclaims God as his guiding light.

It has got to be hard being a thinking Republican There is so much one must ignore, forget, or make believe in order to pretend things are not what one is seeing.

And hence the opportunity for progressives. Many who strayed from thinking are looking for an onramp, but don’t want to lose all of their dignity to get there. We can be that tool if our approach is firm but empathetic. I’ve seen it work in my very red tea party-type town. It is just tedious, because one must do it on a personal level. But then each person who decides to rejoin reality can, in turn, become a conduit.

As someone once noted, the Republican Party has become an insurgency rather than a true political party, and that really turned a major corner in that direction, not just with Trump, but with Ted Cruz, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and the Tea Party sort. The worst thing is that many of them and their supporters honestly believe in this crap, while other, more "mainstream" guys are going along for the tax cuts and other giveaways to themselves and their corporate overlords, who have obviously instructed them to work with Trump, the teabaggers, etc.

To the Koch Brothers, Trump, Moore, etc. are useful idiots. They're even willing to overlook treason, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and statutory rape (the actual crime of which Roy Moore was accused, though it has been sensationalized as molestation, it's still pretty serious and carries severe penalties in my own state of Arizona), as long as they get their corporate welfare and their tax cuts (which are another form of corporate welfare when you consider how much they already lean on a U.S. Treasury that they have no intention of paying back at all).

Like the Fascists and the Nazis, the Republicans are being coddled with their bizarre ideology by Big Business because they are willing to pay Big Business off. If they weren't, they'd be buried by the Koch Brothers and their allies, none of whom really give two shits who sleeps with whom and goes to the bathroom wherever, and few if any of whom would fail to shock a priest at the confessional if they were Catholic, for instance.

The Democrats have done some corrupt deals with Big Business, to be sure, but they also have something of a conscience and their overall agenda is still to benefit ordinary working Americans and various minorities who have denied access to equal opportunity in the past. Sure, the Clintons have been cozier with Wall Street than one would like, and Kamala Harris in particular was a little too friendly to the banks in the past, but they also opposed this latest massive tax cut that would explode the deficit and result in the most regressive tax burden on the working class ever proposed since Gary Johnson's so-called "Fair Tax."

Oh, by the way, Ronald Reagan, who never questioned the morality of the progressive income tax in principle, and who actually supported the Earned Income Tax Credit for working Americans, would be deemed a RINO by the current Trumpites. Reaganite conservatism died with Dubya. It's Trump's party and not even the Tea Party is independent of him now. They've entirely surrendered from Ted Cruz to Sarah Palin to Herman Cain to even Rand Paul. Completely disgraceful.

Oh, and this is a former Bircher, former Teabagger writing this. I feel that I was defrauded, cheated, scammed, lied to by my former political heroes, from Newt Gingrich to Paul Ryan. They're a bunch of hypocrites, liars, and sellouts, with no integrity or morals or anything at all. And before you lecture me about the morality of writing smut, my moral code doesn't condemn that. It does condemn a lack of empathy or compassion for the downtrodden, though. As Hellenistic pagan, the words, "beggars and strangers come from Zeus" aren't just a cute saying or proverb. They mean something to me.

I watched this video

I talk about sane, sensible, thoughtful Republicans, once in a while. As time goes by, it becomes obvious, that the group loyal to Trump are just that thin slice of our nation, that have disconnected themselves from reality. Unfortunately, that thin slice is making use of a machine that the Republicans built, to give themselves the advantage over Democrats.

When the KKK and the White Supremacists victimized Charlottesville, there was plenty of opposition.

There is plenty of opposition to Roy Moore in Alabama.

Some quotes from the video-

"Roy Moore Is An Unbelievable Bag Of Shit"

"He’s a judge who’s been kicked off the bench twice for refusing to do his job, he’s taken money from his own non-profit, he’s openly admitted that he thinks the last time America was great was before the Civil War, he thinks all legislation should be drafted by Jesus, and he presumably believes that the Devil invented dinosaurs and gay people."

"This dude represents everything that’s wrong with the South."

Trump feeds lines to the people that want to get back at President Obama, more than Trump does. For some people, that is their focus, and they cheer when Trump strikes at anything connected with President Obama.

President Obama had his own reasons for embarrassing Trump, and Obama exposed Trump as a low creature, not fit for high office. It has been recorded for posterity. It was a double-bind situation. Make an enemy of Trump, and give ammunition to his enemy's supporters, or let the sociopath get away with posing as a worthwhile human being.

At least, the writers at the Onion were kidding...

WASHINGTON—In response to the 15 individuals who have come forward alleging sexual misconduct by the president, Donald Trump reportedly dismissed his accusers Tuesday as women.

“Anyone can see that these disgraceful and false allegations are clearly coming from total, utter women,” said Trump, adding that those claiming he groped, fondled, and forcibly kissed them “absolutely know that they’re female” and that “everyone else knows they are, too.”

“These are obvious women we’re dealing with, okay? Each and every one of them. It’s a shame that anyone can be such an undeniable woman and just get away with it.”

Trump went on to say that many of the people supporting his accusers had no credibility either because they’re just as much women as the accusers themselves.

"...key leaders of a faith tradition I once identified with so strongly appear to have abandoned all their principles in pursuit of naked political gain."

(gsgs comment- The campaign promise to evangelicals, is they will have their perfect Christian world, here on Earth. Money is wrung from each community, to fund politics. It disgusted some of the people, that helped to count it up the funds. Some money was pulled from hands that were poverty stricken, extremely elderly, or uneducated, disadvantaged, and doomed. The money was used in corrupt deals, or wasted on luxuriant excess.

Save the fetuses!
(But give no help, assistance, or comfort to minority babies, children, or teens.)
Food stamps for babies health reduced, school lunches for poor children, taken away. Health destroying buildings, poisoned water, polluted land, were what the poor were given. Degrading, dehumanizing, and spirit destroying deprivation. Poison for the body, is also poison for the fleshly brain, genetic inheritance, and a happy future.)

Turn women away from usurping the male role in society.
(Hypocrisy dictates there must be wealthy women holding positions of political power, as allies of Christian efforts.)

Turn the LGBT away from their choices!
(Deny them every advantage of acceptance in society.)

The face of White Supremacy looms over all. The Christian God/god was the author, creator, and boss of all creation..The God/god made white men wealthy, and the boss, on Earth. One does not argue with God/god.

If you are worthy, you are wealthy. God/god wills it. (Do not speak of the original sources of wealth. We do not talk about that.) If you are not wealthy, you have been judged by God/god, to be unworthy.

Do not worry, Tonald Drump is here to reward the worthy.

(I dunno. Ask the Prosperity churches.)

Focus on the Family

"He railed against the “radical" feminism of Gloria Steinem and Germaine Greer, who he viewed as enemies of the traditional, nuclear family. He was particularly wary of “moral relativism,” his catchall term for a philosophy he defined as one in which there were no moral absolutes. He singled out words like “tolerance” and “diversity,” arguing that they were euphemisms for a radical left-wing agenda."

"The parallel universe American evangelism has created for itself — manifested in separate colleges and separate media, music, and film — goes hand in hand with a deep-rooted distrust of anything mainstream, particularly the media."

"One of the most persuasive arguments that evangelicals like Dobson make is that Christians are under attack in America, persecuted by the likes of humanist secularists and radical feminists. They are the ones that are forcing us to change our language, to be more inclusive, more tolerant, which are really just code words for “anti-Christian.” The ability of the evangelical Christian apparatus to build a worldview, and in some cases literally create separate communities, served to confirm this “us vs. them” sentiment.

"The persecution complex felt among evangelicals is real and can’t be reasoned away,..."

About the only thing that I'd agree with the right-wing Christian nutters is that the old-line family sitcoms did infantilize and subvert fathers and husbands, portraying them almost uniformly as buffoons. I never much cared for any of those shows, except ironically the Cosby Show and Family Ties to a degree. Well, Different Strokes, also, but then, Mr. Drummond wasn't a buffoon. Aside from that, though, their complaints about pop culture ring hollow with me, even if I don't care for reality shows, either. I don't miss the family sitcom era at all.

If Xians are a persecuted minority, why do Xians overwhelmingly dominate all level of gov't at local, state, and national levels? The 'persecution' claim implies that OTHER Xians are doing the persecuting.

In other words, it's only more factional fighting among believers. Take THAT, you filthy cat-licker! Up YOURS, Moron polygamist! Suck my Satan-defying cross, Baptist swine! Hey, Lutherans take it up the ass! Yada yada bullshit...

My Quaker farmwife grandmother watched too much TV and was suckered-in by a televangelist. That's why she sent me to Oral Roberts University when it was brand new. Brother Oral was a charismatic guy indeed, but he kinda screwed the pooch later, begging for money to keep things running. Things like his limousines.

Xians are funny people. Yeshua bir Miryam supposedly said rich folks will go to Hell and that his followers should abandon their families and live together in communal simplicity. We don't see much support for THAT on the 800 Club.

I have no problem persecuting an evangelical. ;)

The effort to counteract the wobble caused by a Gallup poll, involved Mike Fuck-a-bee. Yet, another year, where the majority of America's population honored former President Obama's respect for other people, and his self respect.

This may have melted the edges of the current reality-averse snowflake, currently sitting in the Oval office chair.
