Where yall from?

I think that is a myth. Australia is bigger than Texas and I don't think everything in Australia is bigger. They do have deadly fauna - even the Duck Billed Platypus has poison claws.

Me - I don't come from anywhere. I'm a figment.

Jeanne

aww hell Jeanne... my boobs are bigger than yours :p

Come to think of it, so is my ass :D

Hey, you only live a few hours away from me.

I live in TN.

I'm from the South of England. Yeah, the bit right on the south coast, but not the Isle of Wight, although I can see it from where I am, if I'm down the beach. I'm in a long-winded kinda mood. :p

Evening everyone.

This thread is so opportune, it could have been put there by me. Why?

Because I started my own little list today of trying to fit everyone into timezones. I don't know about you guys, but the differences in times really does my head in.

So, if you would be so kind, and accommodating to this English gentlewoman (I am, Lucky called me it the other day, and she NEVER lies), how about telling me not where you come from originally, but where you are now, so I can fit you into my chart.

If anyone is really interested, I'd be happy to share when its complete.

Thank you all for your generous assistance.......in advance.

The old world. LOL

The land of wooden shoes, wind mills and tulips of course.

:D

Oh, and let's not forget that little boy with his finger in the dyke.
Now why does that suddenly sound like a totally different story?

It is now 20:34.

:D

Eastern U.S. time zone, for the clocks' purposes. Atlantic Canada time zone, with reference to the sun.

Mat, I'm in the same time zone as you, but you knew that. Didn't you? Not sure where you are, but I'm on Tyneside. North of the river.

Thanks Alex.
And how remiss of me. I'm in the South of England, not far from Lou and Og. May have to organise a little get together.

Indeed! And there's Lew and Pops. :D

Lou

Edited to add a few more (was originally thinking of only those in the South, then I realised who you'd said that to, doh, and also realised I remember where Earl lives. ;) ). So, there's also Gauche, The Earl, Just Legal (Helen), and others who can slap me around if I've not mentioned them.

Firstly, I appear to have hijacked your thread, Rideme. Please accept my apologies. Very rude of me.

Secondly, people, I have to admit, my geography is ok generally with regard to the States, but when you start talking about towns or cities in US I get lost. How about you just let me have the time where you are now, and I can plot it on my chart ?

And so as not to hijack Rideme's thread any further, you can always pm me, the time will be registed there for me, so I can plot it quite simply.

I know, I know, kind of an anal thing, but I like to have things clear in my head.

Mat (tonight, I'm an analyst......and no I do NOT want to hear all your personal horror stories!)

Thanks for those Lou, I'd already got Pops and Gauche, didn't realise Just Legal was a Brit.

Sounds like we could have quite a party. One of the advantages of living in a place so much smaller than the dear USofA, meeting up is so much easier.

Black Tulip is only an hour's flight away, Liar and Svenskaflicka quite close, and Lauren's not that far.....What an idea !!!!

Arizona. There's Texans around, but they seem to sleep in. :D

Minsue, your situation causes me a couple of problems, timezone wise.

According to the map I gleaned off the dear old internet, in the summer, Arizona's time zone is synchronised with that of the East Coast, i.e. 8 hours behing GMT - but in the winter it takes on the same time as Central, i.e. Texas and 6 hours behind. ????

(God and I thought British summer time and standard time were confusing!!)

That would make it.....roughly 12.40pm where you are now. Yes????
