Where yall from?

Well, thanks, Debbie. I guess I can try to help you when I can. And I'm sure if you ask nicely there are some other people here who would help you too.

So when you get home from work, or when you have time, it might be an idea to start a new thread to ask for help. Maybe you could write something and then other people could look at it and tell you what isn't right and how to fix it.

I did notice in your last post you used periods a couple times and that's a start. And I have seen you use question marks too. That's a good start.Your spelling, for the most, part seems to be alright but there are people who can help you there too.
Just remeber to be patiant and try to follow what people tell you and I think we can help.

OK?

Oooooh, Darnoel is giving spelling lessons (Just remeber to be patiant and try to follow) so well. "Oh Darnoel dear, will you teach me too?"

/me slaps forehead thinking what the hell have I gotten my self into?

North Carolina

If I ever leave NC, Cowgirl, it will probably be to move to Dallas. I've always thought of it as just a big small town. Folks there are a lot like Carolinians - friendly and down-to-earth.

ready to cross a border at an instant's notice, but still be in Germany.

I loved the Neckar valley. The sausages are good, and the beer. The bread, the wine, the cheese. Beautiful piece of country, too. You are in a fortunate place.

Yeah, I'm not really complaining about the area/country I live in.
It's only its citizens that sometimes annoy me. But I can't change that, can I ?

You can change your attitude for starters.

I moved to the country and couldn't believe how feral they were. Feral here is like the rednecks in the US.

I've settled, accustomised, accepted and gotten off my high horse and realized what great people I have as neighbors.

I'll never be a city chick again. Country people are some of the nicest, friendliest, honest, genuine, sincere people I've ever had the fortune to meet.

From what I've read of your posts snoop, and please don't take this personally, but you seem really down. I think that is half your problem.

To me, you just need a really good network of friends to support you and get you through what ever it is you are going through right now. If that isn't possible, my PM is always open and I'm a great listener.

If I'm wrong, I sincerely apologise and I will now shut up.

*hugs*

Actually I'm really impressed that you could say all that from my posts. But even though you're quite right with some of it, I meant the German people as a hole. I think there are nicer countries/people in the world, i.e. more open, friendly, more 'easy' as in not so uptight, more honest, more positiv.

But then again I shouldn't complain too much I guess.

I just think life would be easier if one lived in a people who had 'joy of life' on top of their lists.

Snoop,y *hugs back*

Snoop,

I think you're living quite near to me. I live in the north of my country, about an hour from the German border.

Zum Wohl!

You know, having joy of life as a priority could also mean you do not care too much about other people's concerns.

LOL

I'm suddenly reminded of that fable about the cricket and the ant.

Hardworking and serious is not all that bad.
