I thought I would treat myself to one of these three items as a college grad gift for myself, but I don't like a heck of a lot of pain keep that in mind.

Clit piercing sounds painful... but then, I am not equiped to ever really know.

Being a very tactile person, I would suggest a tattoo. When I imagine rubbing a girl, I don't really envision feeling a lot of metal.

Number of times you get poked:

Tattoo -- many, many. many

Nipple rings -- twice

Clit -- once

Go for the one time only gets results!

I've been told that nipples are the most painful of all piercings

I have a couple of tattoos and found that the "pain" was more of a burning stinging sensation which after a while felt quite erotic ;) especially the one on my lower back.

Be aware also that you can remove a piercing but a tattoo is permanent so choose wisely what it is and where you place it

Tattoo. Definitely. You can express yourself in so many ways. Just take the time to find the one that is right for you, something that describes you over a long period of time, one that will never seem 'out of place' when someone sees it...

For instance...I don't know what you are into, but I'm into guitars. I have been into them for the last ten years, and I cannot imagine that ever changing. So I'm planning on a guitar tattoo pretty soon.

Piercings are just...piercings. Everybody can have them and they look about the same on everyone. But a tattoo is personal.

Tatt

Personally, I would be concerned about how my lover(s) tongue would feel on a pierced clit. I would think that an otherwise great, wonderful feeling could become a very painful experience. Admittedly, I don't have first hand knowledge or experience.

At the beach with the kids, I don't think I'd look very motherly if there was an extra bump in swim suit from a piercing. And again, the pain thing.

But a tattoo sounds interesting. I've been trying to gather the courage to get one myself. I've always liked the idea of a rose over my heart, just to the right of my nipple. Down low, so that it only showed when I purposely wore a low cut blouse with the intention of showing it off. Easily hidden during PTA meetings, yet easily displayed at the club.

My two cents worth. 49 more and you'll have a dollar, good for half a gallon of gas!

How much would a good tattoo or piercing cost you - a few hundred dollars (for a piercing let's add in the cost of the metal)? My recommendation is to take that money and buy yourself a few great books. By great I mean Plato or Shakespeare or Jane Austen. Anyone can get their body pierced or find someone to scrawl a picture on it with a needle. Only a few people truly treasure their education. Savor your learning - equip yourself to continue learning for a lifetime.

slight hijack

JRaven I was 43 when I got my first tattoo......2 years ago now. I went to my then 14 yr old daughter's prizegiving in a tank top and jeans with the tatt on my shoulder showing.....she was mortified, "Why can't you dress like all the other mothers" was the response I got

Ummmm......I'm not like all the other mothers
I did catch some looks from some of the other women but hey......who the hell cares ;)

Thanx for the votes and recommandations!

I have been leaning towards the tatoo as well, but the premit thing is what freaks me out the most!

The nipples are my second choice, I really like the sound of it and I can always remove them if I really don't like them, but I lean a lot of things up against my chest at work so I have been afraid that it might not work out as well.

I just through the clit in there for the fun of it...sounds sex and hot to me, but not something I think I would really do... But then again I am VERY unpredictable ;)

If you did get a clit piercing, at least anyone pleasuring you would be sure to find it! I bet a lot of guys wish they had that kind of landmark to lead the way! :D

if you go for the clit make sure that they dont actually pierce the clit-its the hood that is pierced.had a friend who told them to pierce her clit...and they did....and,well,they should have clarified what was being done and she should have checked into it more.some people do actually have the clit done but mostly it's the hood.

I was thinking(&voted) Nipples. I've heard piercing'down south' hurts like hell! Personally, I like my tongue piercing:p Good luck tho, whichever u decide.

nipples hurt like hell to get done.
clit not so much.
tattoo - hardly anything after the first couple of lines.

piercing nipples means going through glandular tissue - they can take up to a year to heal completely (by heal completely, i mean when the piercing channel has finally been fully covered over with a protective layer of skin cells that make it 'sealed').
nipple piercings can flare up at any time, for many different reasons, but if you lean things against your chest for work - trust me - you will hurt!

clit hood piercings are less painful than nipples, and heal much, much faster.
the entire vulval area has high blood flow, and that helps with the healing process.
also the type of skin cells that line the piercing channel down there are a little different, and they grow faster than anywhere else on the body (with the exception of the tongue).
and contrary to what was said in a post above, you do not get an 'extra bulge in your swimsuit'!
clit piercings are quite discreet.

tattoos are obviously more permanent than piercings, but they are also very individual and unique.
and your body has a thing it does when confronted by 'manageable pain' - endorphins kick in after a minute or so, and the pain of getting inked lessens markedly.
i have fallen asleep during several of my tatt's, and i've found from other people i've spoken to, that it's not that uncommon!

in the end, only you can make the choice, so i haven't voted (mainly because i've done all 3!!!).

good luck, whichever you decide, and post pics if appropriate after ;)

go for the clit hood. I think they are great. I got it done, and i loved it... guys were also so very interested in hearing about it, lol. they do heal fast but you have to make sure to take care of it. Mine ended up growing out, and i have a cute little scar. it didn't really even hurt very much, it was more of surprise than anything. Plus, after it was done, i didn't even notice it was there most of the time unless i looked down. and the best part about it, is you can take it out if you decide to, or even change the ring (or barbell) unlike a tat.
with tats, you need to think of where youre going to put it. you might some day have children, so i wouldn't reccomend your tummy. the most popular place for girls is on the lower back, which i have heard hurts ALOT. i got my first one on my tummy, and i didnt even cry through it, and i cry if i get a paper cut. i got my second on my back, off to the side, and i ended up sobbing. be careful though. thats the best advice you can ever get. don't just go to the cheapest place you find, check them out, and talk to people to find out where their body art was done. and make sure to meet with your artist before hand, get to know them a little, and if possible, watch them work to see how they are.
Good luck!!
:rose:

like warrior queen suggested, pics would be neato!

To the clit piercers:

Did it make the clit less sensitive? Waht were the results in terms of getting better orgasms from guys?

Or did just the fact of having one turn on guys?
