While you argue over impeachment

The rising costs of electricity, metals, and maintenance will eventually shut down the internet. Then we revert to older tech for news, porn, networking, etc.

Yep, that part is done, although other articles of impeachment could be added. But, like you either are or aren't pregnant, there are no half-way stages, you are or are not impeached. And that's now done with Impeached Trump. Trumpettes need to get over that part. It's done. He's impeached. This is set in the history books. The history books will probably also include the reasoning and make a judgment, whether or not the Senate removes. There's little doubt about what the history books will say about Impeached Trump's guilt on the articles of impeachment already passed.

Leave off the fact that history will obviously judge those bringing the impeachment. They were all geared up to do it after the Mueller report and then Mueller was a babbling idiot on the stand and they had to back off. Now they went through with an impeachment with even less to go on then the Mueller report might have given them. Not only are the optics horrible the tactics wer defective.

Impeachment without sending the articles to the senate for trial is exactly like being a little bit pregnant. When the accused cannot have his day in court it's meaningless.

This impeachment will end up in the Senate, but it is obviously not going to be whisked through according to McConnell's original plan. Pelosi is first putting some pressure on vulnerable Republican Senate candidates.

And yes, the Senate will not convict Trump, but history will remember that he was a lying and corrupt President who ripped off the well-being of future generations in order to glorify himself.

So....a few questions:

The article says,"The General Assembly has approved a resolution sponsored by China and Russia to set up a committee of “international experts” whose role would be to stop “the use of information and communications technologies for criminal purposes.”...

1) I take it the author does not think that we need to address criminal activity on the internet and it would be detrimental to free speech if we do so?

2) And thinks this is a nefarious backdoor plot by Russia and China to destroy free speech on the interwebs and take control of them?

3) And because you posted it you agree with it?

4) But you don't believe that Russia tried to interfere with the 2016 elections even though the Mueller investigation found and charged many for just that?

5) And you also believe that Russia and China really need to do this back handed, sneaky attack on the internet even though their governments can and do ban all free speech (or anything else they want to) in their respective countries when they feel like it?

6) You also believe that if they establish such a committee that Russia and China are going to have free reign to take over the interwebs and none of the other members are going to do a damned thing about it?
