Gaston Chamois was repulsed by his cousin's decision to confide this in him. What was he supposed to do now? Report it to the authorities? Gaston was an anarchist. He didn't believe in police, trials, etc. Let it go? Hell, no! Anton had bought a human being on the black market like she was a cat or dog, but worse.

Well, only one thing to do. Rescue the poor girl without letting Anton find out what happened. That meant getting her somehow to a battered woman's shelter. She certainly qualified. Then he'd have to hope that the innocent Romanian girl wasn't deported soon afterward. She was eighteen, so it was a very real possibility.

The trouble was that there was no battered women's shelter in this part of the parish. No one bothered to set one up. The nearest one was in Baton Rouge. In the meantime, where could Gaston hide poor Sandra? Only the old family farm, of course. An old Cajun-style house with a few acres of land now used mainly to grow pot (not something that Gaston chose to advertise, of course...he'd have to meet the proper folks far from the farm). He'd have to trust that Sandra wouldn't rat him out to the cops and wouldn't think that she was now his slave instead. Or that Anton wouldn't think that, either. What if Anton chose to visit his cousin before Sandra left?

OOC; Need a Sandra and possibly an Anton, though I can write that role in as an NPC or something like that.
