Who plays you in the movie of your life?

See. All (most) of the girls tried to find someone. All (most) of the guys were just goofy.

Well, class, what does this tell us about humans?

This must have been done before. I was inspired by a convo on a now locked thread. Evan Rachel Wood and a young Jodie Foster were the suggestions from others (oh and Grace Kelly).

I’ll repeat, that my choice is incredibly flattering to me (and she’s younger too), but I pick Emily Alyn Lind. Same body type, not dissimilar facially (but much prettier), same skin tone, and comparable hair color / waviness (if I’ve just lightened it).

How about you?

Oh my. She’s definitely me…

I doubt that there’d be any market in a movie about me… and can’t think of anyone that could be cast as me without portraying me very differently. When I try a lookalike app it chooses actors older than me!

It would definitely be Ben Affleck. Many people have said that he looks like me.

When I was first married, I when to Lane Bryant to get my wife a robe. The girl who checked me out made a comment, "Oh you look just like Ben Affleck." I thanked her and thought nothing of it.

When I told my wife, she wanted to go down to the store and tell her to stay away. Luckily it was in a different state, so she couldn't do that.

Cate Blanchette always makes me dream of a life of fantastic adventures, with handsome elves from the olden times.....mmmmmm

I'll go with Kevin Costner, based on this photo I found.

I'm flattering myself, of course, but if I squint hard it's not completely dissimilar from the way I looked about 12 years ago, when I was younger, leaner, and fitter. He's much better looking, but we're about the same height and build, and our noses are similar and faces in profile are somewhat similar. My hair was about the same color twelve years ago (it's mostly gray now), and this is pretty much the way I've worn my hair for a long time. We both have dark bushy eyebrows. We both have flat, standard American accents and our voices are similar in pitch. He's a whole lot cooler than I am, but isn't that what you're supposed to pick if you want an actor to play you?

I don’t think my mood has ever recovered from watching Melancholia - even Kirsten Dunst nude didn’t lift it.

Damn, that's got to be one hell of a depressing movie. Haven't seen it yet. I saw Nymphomania and it made tons of sex depressing. Von Trier is not an uplifting movie maker.

But can you play baseball?
